Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ColombiaAt some point the toilet in the room ran out of toilet paper. It would be good to have back up toilet paper there
The rooms were clean ans I love the privacy that the bed design gives people sleeping in shared rooms. It was also very good to stay in a female -only room as it created a friendly environment and we ended up going out together.

SpainAutomatic lights in the room meant that even if you're trying to be quiet and respectful at night, entering the room or going to the bathroom, the light turns on anyway! The beds were rather more enclosed than I expected. It very quickly gets very warm...
Friendly welcome, free tea and coffee and comfortable and fun common area.

United StatesThe locker under the bed had a broken hinge which made it annoying opening and closing it. Plus the proximity of the bunks/pods was not great when others are snoring.
The kitchen was very good as were the majority of the facilities.

FranceThe room is way too small and without enough fresh air; the bathroom (or not even a "room" because it's not fully isolated) easily causes noises and I actually got awake from one of my roommate bathing
The location is fine; everything is basically provided; beds are with curtain

ItalyI found the neighborhood a little bit sketchy. It’s really 5 min away from the center but, as woman, I didn’t feel safe. Nothing happened, just a lot of staring.

FinlandThe upper bed was frightening for me because no any border so I fear to die to fall down sleeping.. but I suppose for other persons it's not a problem. No own small light with bed. The room was very small and shower was in the room (noisy). Location good distance, but the street was messy and a little bit frightening, some men shouting to you when you walking by.
Clean, a very nice kitchen, freetour, clean, friendly service

SpainThe bed was a bit uncomfortable, especially when going inside, but that's about it. I was able to sleep through the night anyway. I also got a bit confused about the location of the hostel because there was a sign on the other side of the street with a similar name.
The hostel's location's great since it's just a few minutes away from the main attractions of the city like Aljafería, the Basilica, and the Cathedral. I also like that the hostel's got air-con since I visited in July which is one of the hottest months in this region. The hostel, the shared room and bathroom also seemed clean in general.

United KingdomThe kitchen doesn't have a hob to cook on, just some appliances like an air fryer and sandwich toaster, but this isn't really too important because you can eat out in zaragoza on a low budget
Clean, friendly, sociable, the best option in zaragoza, free coffee! I've stayed in hostels all over the world and this is a good one

AustraliaThe auto lights in the rooms that turn on when someone moves make sleeping very difficult (my privacy curtain was half hanging off so didn't block out any light). Also not a huge fan of the single shower and toilet in the room - these weren't blocked off by any door so you can hear people very easily and it's hard to feel like you have any privacy at all. The location is down a back street and felt a bit sketchy at night but was totally fine during the day.
Cute hostel with clean rooms and a spacious, friendly common area equipped with a fridge, utensils etc.

Beautiful en suite double room with two balconies. Stylishly decorated. Large, very clean bathroom and excellent shower. TV, including Netflix. Superfast WiFi. Excellent security. I liked the area of the city it's in. Lovely girl at reception for check in and check out. A quiet night's sleep- no traffic as the hostel overlooks a pedestrianised street. Free coffee and tea.

SpainThe only downside were the short reception hours which made getting stuff like towels, bed liners outside those hours uncomfortable or impossible.
The hostel uses capsule beds that are very comfortable, spacious and private compared to regular bunk beds. The bathroom/shower area was modern, clean and also comfortable to use. The common spaces were well preserved for a hostel and pleasurable to spend time in. The location was good with close proximity to the center (5 min walk). The train/bus station also wasn't too far, about 20-30 min walk or 15 min by bus.
