Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandEven better than I expected. The accomidation was spotless. The rooms were lovely and quiet. The pods were also very spacious having a double bed. First time staying in a hostel by myself. Couldn’t have been better

United KingdomMy only issue, is that the fan in the pod could be a little stronger. Could just be me, though, as I always sleep with a wi dow open for plenty fresh air. Other than that, no complants at all.
Great place for a nights sleep. Cleanliness was spot on. Nice quiet and relaxed. The pod was great, plenty space. I am 6' 4" and was a few spare inches. One thing I was worried about it being too.short. Highly recommend for somewhere to sleep

IranIt was a little dark, and they didn't have a window in the shared space.
It was a hostel with your own private bed. It was very clean and quiet, and it was in a very good location in Valencia.

IrelandHostel with the privacy of having your own pod to disconnect! About 20 mins from the centre it’s easily accessible . Difficult to find initially as it’s located within a building without any sign outside (or at least not one I could see!) super accessible once in however - everything accessed through wristband or a unique code. Had all facilities needed for a comfortable stay -towel, laundry, shower amenities, lockers, etc! For the price I cannot fault this place and recommend anyone staying in Valencia on a budget to visit

UkraineI didn’t like the fact that there was never anyone at the front desk. The building where the hostel is, is closed at 10. I had to check in at after 11 pm, no one actually told me how to get into the building. I was just lucky that there was some guy who had the key. They leave you the phone number but how can you call if you are from another country that’s a nice question. Especially if you don’t have any internet. If that was my first time traveling I’d be devastated. I also didn’t like the fact that the girls from other rooms who didn’t overpay for the private bathroom came in when the other bathroom was occupied. I mean if you are not willing to pay for the private room and separate bathroom - deal with it, don’t bother other people. That also is a problem because people never close the door. I mean I had a female room and I expect some privacy, not the open door. I guess the hostel stuff can hang some papers to close the door etc. Also at some point someone took my towel and never gave it back 😂
The place was surely very clean. There is a fridge and a microwave, comfortable place to sleep

Oh, what didn't I like ? It was the best hostel I stayed in in my life! (and I stayed so far in about 7 or 8). It was very quiet, very comfy (bed wise and room wise), quite high tech (the control of the curtains and the lights), with spacious bathroom, very nice location, wonderful and cozy kitchen.

Ireland-
The staff was incredible! I made a last-minute reservation at night, and since reception was closed, they called me and guided me with the access instructions until I was in my room. I really appreciated that extra effort! The place was SUPER clean and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, like a hotel’s, and it had everything I needed for a great stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable too! Plus, everything was very tech-savvy, making my stay even more enjoyable.

SpainThere was only one women's and one men's bathroom for a 10-bedroom dorm, but then there was a much larger women's bathroom with multiple stalls, dressing tables, etc. locked away in a separate room only accessible to the handful of people staying in there. I don't really think one bathroom per gender (which was toilet/shower/sink all in one) is sufficient for that many people, but it happened to be fine for my stay given there was practically no one staying at the hostel at the time. Tips for management: the motion-activated sensor for switching on the light in the bathroom needs to be more sensitive. Many times I had to walk around in circles in the darkness in the bathroom before it would finally, randomly switch on, and every time it switched off it was a total guessing game to try to get it to turn on again (right in the middle of a shower, etc.). Also, heavy perfume-fragrance throughout the common spaces of the hostel (diffuser reeds everywhere) that I didn't like, but it's worth noting I have an excellent sense of smell, so your mileage may vary.
The beds were out of this world! The best sleep I've ever gotten in a hostel, hands down. I want that mattress at home! Felt absolutely no movement from any of the other bunks, each pod is really well insulated and totally private. The kitchen was well-stocked and hostel was clean. I don't know how indicative my experience was of a normal stay at the hostel, because I was visiting the city right after a terrible natural disaster and at one point was the only person staying in a 10-bedroom dorm. Given that (maybe major) caveat, I found the hostel very quiet--I basically had it all to myself--especially so because there's no staff except for the cleaning crew that comes in at midday. Nice location, maybe a 20-minute walk or so to the old town; metro was closed because of natural disaster so I can't speak to that.

United StatesI was a bit confused about if there was a larger all female bathroom. I could only access the accessible bathroom next to the kitchen as my access key wouldn’t let me into a different dorm. That dorm had a “female” bathroom sign which made me think there was another one?
As an older traveler (30) I loved the quietness of this hostel & the feature of the closed blinds.

HungaryThe passwords should be unique for each pod/room/bed and regenerated every time. Passwords from room A should not open the room B. Password received by guest X for one bed should be different from the password received by guest Y later for the same bed. Passwords from The POD Suite Hostel Village should not allow access to The POD Suite Hostel Blasco.
Everything was EXTRA clean. The whole hostel felt really safe, for me as a solo traveler this was more than perfect.
