there is somekind of a syntetic material under the bed linen that does not let your body breath. It would be great to have an oven or something to cook on in the kitchen

Since it’s so central, it’s also noisy because of nearby bars. The bathroom was somewhat inconvenient for a dorm room, since the shower only closing for a showering person. so if one showers, that takes up the sink and toilet too. For the same reason, the main room could use a mirror. The breakfast was a bit basic but I guess ok for the price.

Loved the location, close to everything in the center. The dorm rooms are perfect for solo travellers. The shared facilities are nice, super comfy bed.

Given the specific branding that the TOC hostels try to deliver to its guests of a very elegant stay for the solo-traveller, perhaps the property could benefit from hosting more opportunities for the guests to mingle at the hostel, as opposed to just going out to party. However, it is understandable why this kind of hospitality is not provided.

If you are looking for a 4 star hotel experience at a cost-effective price, I would look nowhere further than TOC Malaga. Aside from the very pristine, clean and well maintained furnishings of the shared bed rooms, I would say you are provided with so much more from this ideally located property in the city-centre such as social activities by the staff like the pub-crawls to experience Malaga's nightlife, personalised recommendations like the Arab-style Hammam's for which you get a discount, and the plentiful amenities that make you feel liked a valued guest during your stay. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Clean and friendly environment. Good looking building. The location is good, near the local supermarket if you want to buy and cook food. It's a city centre, so people party outside all night and every day. You will need earplugs!

It’s like high end hostel. Really cozy, staff is extremely friendly, hostel even smells very nice! Location is also amazing close nice pubs and bars and grocery store :) Plus a lot of good working spaces for digital nomads!

TOC is so clean and so nice. The staff was so helpful and kind with my different reservations and rooms and checking my bags in and out everyday. You get so much out of their facilities, wifi and cozy lobby. It’s not much of a social hostel, but it’s location and amenities make it SO great for a weary backpacker!

Kitchen didn't have a stove, so couldn't really cook, except microwave. Lounge area in common space wasn't very big.

I stayed in a private room with a queen bed. It had everything I needed! The hostel did a great job with organizing tours for me, including a free walking tour, a bar crawl, and a tapas tour. The front desk and bartenders were so nice and made me feel at home! The other guests were great as well, I was a solo traveler but made friends easily! Additionally, I was able to get work done from the common room and kitchen, the wifi was great and atmosphere was energetic yet quiet.
