Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. We had to arrange to meet the host upon our arrival.
The location was right in the middle of town - perfect. The host was very kind, friendly and generous. They had a washer and dryer for us to use! Our room and hallway were so bright and well lit - a rarity.

We arrived soaking wet from a long Camino rainy walking day. We were greeted warmly and showed all features of the room and facility. The proprietor showed us where we could use the hotel dryer to dry our wet clothes and she also had the best recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was very good and worth the cost. This is a very clean property and close to stores, restaurants and the Camino.

The staff were excellent. The duty manager ( Mercedes?) was kind and gentle and assisted an elderly couple who had issues with their booking. The rooms were modern , comfortable and clean.

I don't recommend the room in front of the dining room. Because guests can sit there drinking coffee and talking all hours .you can hear it all through the door. If you are tired and want to sleep early, it isn't convenient. Luckily, it became quite at around 22:30
The hotel is perfectly situated in the old city, very close to the Camino. It is more like small rooms and a dining room. No lobby. There's an elevator so easy with the suitcase. The Chek in was very easy, and the staff was very friendly. There's free tea and coffee during the day in the dining room. breakfast was the best so far on the Camino. Included eggs and orange juice, very good coffee atc'. We enjoyed the location very much.

Right on the Camino in the old town. Stunning old building. Exceptionally clean. Brand new interiors it seems. Very stylish. Beds were amazing. To have scrambled eggs made for us was very welcomed!!

Breakfast room is small. We booked breakfast for 7:45 but were unable to have our table at that time since it was too busy and had to come back a little later. A better system is needed there. The room is small, so reduces the comfort level a little. For one night it was OK - but for longer period this could be a problem.
Beautiful room in a great position in a lovely town. Check in was a great experience with a welcoming host. Everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was of a high standard.

Laundry is free/included, but there is only one washer and dryer for the entire hotel.
Beautiful, clean, quiet, welcoming reception with clear instructions. This hotel is an absolute oasis. After a day on the Camino, it felt beyond luxurious. Breakfast was delicious.

Well renovated aacomodation, elegant decor. Beds are excellent! The host is kind and professional, and she keeps good communication with guests. After walking over 20km of the camino, we had a really relaxed night of sleep here:)) And applause for the breakfast as well👏👏👏

Very well placed for Camino walkers. Quality room with new, clean, comfortable facilities and an excellent early breakfast included. Very accommodating and friendly staff.

Wonderful stay and so kind and warm on arrival. Communication was exceptional, and the restaurant recommendations were fantastic. It's perfect if you're on the camino with laundry facilities, centrally located and best of all, fantastic hosts. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. Will definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay here: great location, very friendly staff (mother and daughter, both named Mercedes), and ample breakfast. Just steps off the Camino. Would stay here again!

Guests cannot check in until 3 pm which is inconvenient. However my backpack arrived earlier and was secure until I checked in.
Excellent location near many cafes and restaurants. Mercedes enthusiastically checked me in, the room is so well appointed with four double windows that flood the room with air and light.
