Rooms are well equipped but very compact. Bathroom was also very small however it had everything you need including toiletries. They charge extra for spa access (20 pp) and they were asking 15 eur for robe and slippers. That's extremely high - I know this because I work at a prestigious spa in London, which is also a part of a hotel and our spa access is free to all guests and we don't charge for robes ,they are in every room. So that was a bit disappointing.

Hotel is modern with great facilities. About 10 min (10 eur Uber ride) from city centre. Breakfast was very nice selection . Spa facilities were good , although a bit busy with public spa users. We also had to pay 20 eur pp for access because of the room we had . They were also charging 15 eur for robe and slippers which is ridiculous .Roof bar area was nice good for lounging and sunbathing.. Everything was clean and well maintained. Checkout time was good. Easy to get Ubers from there

Rooms are rather on the smaller side. The wellness (SPA) area is only included with certain rooms, that's a bummer.

The hotel is very modern with nice equipment. Staff is very helpful, breakfast is awesome. Valo also has exceptional wellness area (does not come with every booking though), make sure to check it out. Overall great value for the price.

Annoying high frequency whine in the room, possibly related to AC, although changing settings did not affect the whine, but at least it it got to selected temperature quite accurately. In-room hotel info on tv was out of date. Shower drain was clogged by hair, eww. Consider utilizing the "standard" way of putting toilet paper neatly in the rooms as observed in various other hotels instead of just stuffing it there. Breakfast just midrange; adding a few extras could make it on par with other same price range business hotels which often have items like fresh orange juice press and properly brewed leaf tea on breakfasts, unlike here with just the basics available (but the basics were at least we'll done).

Nice modern hotel with relatively compact rooms utilizing the available space well. Plenty of light. Within walking distance of central park.

We were on our holiday, had just returned from Germany with plenty of smiling bussers and waiters working at breakfast rooms and restaurants. From the missing smiles at Valo breakfast I figured we were back in Finland - either that or there were too few bussers. I also heard the super say to her employees at 9.45 not to bring any food on offer ("There are only 15 minutes left"). It didn't make me feel relaxed...

The location was ideal for our plans, and it was nice to have a semi wall in the room between us parents and our kids. The bathroom was spacious; the "living room" was cramped when the sofa bed was made. The breakfast was quite versatile and there were a few positive surprises, e.g the salmon pie was delicious! My husband missed bacon (his arteries not so much).

The rooms and the toilets are really too small but sitting in this unbelievable Lobby with my laptop, having a coffee and enjoying its incredible atmosphere was worth every penny.

The room was really small and as a couple it was difficult that the bed was against the wall, the person sleeping on that side has to climb over the other. Also a small minus was that there wasn't a fridge in the room even there was empty cabinets. No wardrobe was also surprising.

Breakfast was good. The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was nice and helpful. Roof terrace was cool!

Nothing, I had a great stay

I stayed here on a leisure trip to relax in Helsinki for a few days, this is a perfect place to do this. It’s located very close to the forest and some nice relaxing areas near the sea. It’s not close to the city centre but if you’re looking to unwind then it’s perfect. The room is very modern and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating when I asked for a specific room facing outwards. I would suggest also asking for this as there are lots of rooms that face into the building. The breakfast is also great !

Staff are so by the book and they lack the sense of hospitality. At breakfast espresso and other type of coffee are paid. only black coffee is free.

I booked the hotel through booking and bookin.com confused when i did the booking thinking that it was made for 2 adults, it ended up that it was made for 1 adult and we ended paying extra fee for the 2nd person.

The rooms are quite small. I have had better breakfasts. Not so big and well-equiped trainingroom.

Friendly Staff. Nice location, though it is not downtown. Some nearby restaurants and good communication with the busses going Quite often.Nice rooftop bar with sauna and jacuzzi.Lots of places for working and relaxing all over the hotel.

we have been to the restaurant twice and although the food quality was great, I found the prices quite high. Especially because it did not come with a lot of sides which left some of us hungry after the main course. We ate almost double the portion for much less money in a Nepalese place one of the other days..

The area doesn't have much to offer but it's an easy 20 minute bus ride to the city center so really not a problem.

Self check in and check out we're easy and fast, Facilities are amazing, breakfast was really great, so much effort was put into this hotel and it's maintaince. Recommended!

Only thing I would change is to include the spa access to guests. The price extra would be 20 euros per person per visit. When booking I thought it might be included but it was not.
