The WIFI was unreliable though after some time the tech team sort it out and it worked fine. On arrival we were kindly upgraded to a luxury room, however, that evening there was a wedding reception within a stone's throw from our room and the drum and bass reverb put a kibosh on our sleep. We spent the extra money to spend our last night in Fiji at the Sofitel so we could get a good night's sleep. Bad luck for us. The pool is lovely though even the adult area was over-crowded with children.

The location and staff were truly wonderful. A special thank you to Sai Rasolea who drove us to the airport. He is an absolute gentleman.

This is our second time visit Sofitel. They have a lot of activities every day, and as parents, they don't have to worry about kids boredom at all. The staff who service pool towel very friendly. They will take the initiative to play with kids and also remember the kids name. Because of the child is allergic to nuts, the chief of Suka bar showed us which food can eat and which food can't touch. I think the Sofitel staff are amazing. It is the first choice for family vacation.

If I could change mother natures weather of humidity I would. But thank goodness our rooms always was cool.

Breakfast buffet was delicious and had variety to choose from, from continental to hot breakfast. With fruits and cakes. Can’t fault any selection.

The only bad thing about the hotels at main island is the beach. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

Signposts needed overhrad to indicate reception desks, loyalty desk and activity desk. Not clear at all when you arrive in the huge vestibule.

The food was brilliant—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. However, after five nights, we found that we had worked our way through most of the menu and doubled back. A wider or more varied selection would have made the dining experience even better, along with an expanded broader range of premium wine options

We spent five nights at the Sofitel Denarau in the adults-only area, and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease—the atmosphere was calming, peaceful, and beautifully designed for relaxation. The adults-only section was a true highlight, offering a serene and exclusive retreat for us to do absolutely nothing but relax. The staff were incredibly attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed - Dinner time especially so, their warmth and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. For anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway in Denarau, the Sofitel’s adults-only area is a fantastic choice. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return!

Sofitel is the cleanest resort I’ve stayed at in Fiji and I’ve stayed at a few. Rooms were fresh and clean, facilities were clean. Food was great and the staff were just amazing, definitely worth every penny

Internet connection frequently dropped out. Same alcohol menu and pricing used at all restaurants at the resort. Overpriced food and drinks.

Adult pool costs extra ($200 pp per day!) which was misleading. I wouldn’t pay that much for it, especially with room rates as high as they are. The buffet breakfast was ok but minimal fruit and lots of unique dishes (may be to some people’s liking). Food costs were higher than we expected but this is our first time to Fiji so maybe that’s why. Just be prepared to spend a lot on extras.

With half-board you were given an amount per day and it meant we had to calculate this throughout the day ourselves, it would have been good to have some card/ reminders after each spend.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and attentive-they even left a card and decorations in our room for our honeymoon. The restaurants were all delicious and great portions-although there wasn't too much choice for veggie/vegan. The breakfast & dinner buffets, specifically were really good with lots of choice (including veggie & vegan) The value was incredible for the room, service and half-board option we went for. The pool was great and there was plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. Everything was really clean and well presented, we especially appreciated the attention to the foliage around the entire resort. There was plenty to do with activities hosted throughout the day-although sitting by the pool was perfect!

Breakfast was plentiful. Pool was superb. Room was excellent. But what stood out the most was the staff. They could not do enough for us and their friendly smiles were endearing. We didn't want to leave!!
