Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaEverything is quite pricey. They couldn’t honour the ‘kids eat free’ deal because we booked through booking.com but we stayed one extra night and booked through the resort directly and they still couldn’t do the ‘kids eat free’. The room rate that we were quoted when we first checked in was a lot more when we came back 2 days later to book the extra night. The 3 kids had to sleep on the fold out couch side by side in the bure. There’s not much room for a family of 5. If the kids were a bit older/bigger we would not have been able to make it work.
Amazing resort. It is huge! Very friendly staff, especially our room attendant. Fantastic views. The pool and outdoor facilities are great. There is a range of optional activities you can do at an extra cost. We did the cultural experience and it was really good.

United KingdomAn incredible place to stay, a stunning location and everything you could ever need plus lots to explore nearby. There were several options for eating/drinking and a choice of adults only and family facilities. The staff were brilliant, the room spacious, clean and luxurious. Parking onsite was super convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to return!

AustraliaEveryone at the Outrigger was so helpful and always happy and cheerful!!!! Best service!!! Great range of restaurants with the buffet having theme nights!!! Pools catered for all age groups from baby to adults only pool!! Our kids 8 and 11 loved the inflatable and slide whilst we had cocktails by the pool! Beach is clean so we snorkelled!!! We also went to the local village by local bus that was a great experience! The Bebe spa is so tranquil especially the position if it overlooking all of outrigger!! Locals selling custom made jewellery were so friendly as were the hair braided! Very sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!!!!

AustraliaThe only thing that I didn't like was people smoking on the balcony beside our room and around the pool area.
The food was fantastic, and there were so many options. Both pools were beautiful and kept so clean. I would certainly come back

FijiOne of the housekeeping staff was a bit rude as she didn't show any empathy, friendliness and care. There was a $10 hidden cost included in the bill which was towards staff fund though we had separately tipped off there services.
The room was setup accordingly as we had our anniversary. (Decos, cakes, gift cards). The slider in the swimming pool was great and we had access to group activities including archery, golf and paintball shoot.

AustraliaThe photos on the website imply you can snorkel right at the beachfront of the resort, but that's not the case. The water there is far too shallow for adults to swim or snorkel. I also paid $650/ni for a ocean view room which was a bit of a hike with 2 kids down to the pool area, thought it was a bit expensive for what it was compared to other options. Also everyone else seemed to have 'kids eat free', I'm not sure how or why we didn't have this.
Loved the pool and waterslide. The staff were amazing.

AustraliaThe air-conditioning units near the main pool and around the adult pool were very loud. In fact, while the adult pool was lovely (especially the swim up bar), the horrid air-conditioning unit that was very, very loud really detracted from the 'adult only' relaxing experience. The unit near the main pool you couldn't hear during the day whilst there was other noise around but I do think the resort should do something about the noise for the adult pool, at least. The beds (we had a premium ocean view room), while comfortable, moved a lot when either of us turned over or sat on the bed, waking the other person up. The times for the activities were not always as advertised or did not happen. The bathroom was quite small (although admittedly we had just come from the Sheraton Tokoriki Ocean front room where the bathroom was huge, so had been spoilt). It was perfectly adequate. Pool/beach towels in the room.
Every one of the staff were super friendly and helpful. They were all gorgeous, especially the butler service staff and the activities staff. The staff when we checked in were excellent, too - I'd had to make 2 separate bookings and they made sure all of our needs were catered for, providing rooms close to each other for those that needed it (extended family of 10) and offering to move our son and partner to a different room after the first night (not necessary, their room was lovely - 7th floor, great views). The remainder of our group were in Premium Ocean rooms - smaller than the ocean view rooms but closer to the beach, main pool, and restaurants. Two rooms with children got the ground floor which was good access (they had a 2 year old), and we got the 3rd floor which had nice views and sound of the ocean. The activities were numerous. Seafood buffet on the Sunday was scrumptious, and the Polynesian dancers and the fire dancers, especially, were fantastic. Best I've seen in Fiji (3 trips). A lot of the activities (e.g., fire dancing, meke show, snorkel gear, and kayaks) are free. The restaurants onsite are pretty good (Fiji time for service in some, but expected). The Baravi Asian food was very tasty. Breakfast buffet wasn't the best we've had, but not the worst either. Unfortunately couldn't try the IVi restaurant (closed when we wanted to go). Son and partner enjoyed the food and ambience at the Sundowner (pricey), Crab Shack and the Beach Bar n Grill 2 mins walk along the beach - both had a good vibe, preferred the food at the Bar n Grill. Friendly staff. Spiral slide at main pool a huge hit with the kids. Beach okay - good sunsets - but snorkelling average and only a 2 hour window for snorkelling/water sports (can be 7-9 am!). Butler service an added bonus, such courteous staff. It's not 'upmarket' (lots of package deals), but recommend for the activities, nice gardens, and overall ambience created by the wonderful staff.
