Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe sea/beach surface was coral so ruff to walk on and not so great for swimming in. It’s also quite a distance from the airport.
I liked the facilities available there; large pool, variety of restaurants, kids club, day spa.

AustraliaI’ve really had to think about it but if I must say something is I wish it was easier to access - 1.5hrs from the airport is a tad too long with kids.
it had everything we could possibly need - a great pool for kids as well as a separate one for adults. bars and restaurants everywhere with a wide selection of drinks and incredible food. access to the beach, shops, and the possibility of organising tours. also an incredible spa and amazing nannies !

New ZealandWhen you book through booking.com you do not have access to the free kids meals you would otherwise have if you book directly through the hotel. This wasnt made clear to us at the time of booking or when we asked at check in. The food is average and the prices are expensive.
Beautiful facilities and exceptional service by staff.

AustraliaOur room was quite loud at night as there was a lot of noise from the floor above (I think it was due to its proximity to the storeroom). It would have been nice to have an option for healthy snacks for the kids throughout the day, as they generally don't just eat the main meals.
Staff were friendly. Baravi restaurant at dinner was our favourite for it's quality and variety. The cleaning of the room, along with the turndown service and Talai butler service were nice moments in the day. The additional free activities were also great. The pools were excellent with both being big enough to never feel crowded, with us always being able to find seats close by.

New ZealandWe arrived at 3 pm and had to wait for over an hour to get our room. The reception staff were very slow and not as helpful as they could have been.
Great pool. Activities were fun and something to suit everyone. Fantastic massage! Loved the adult only area. Could still spend time with grandchildren but also have some quite time.

AustraliaAdult pool closes at 5pm...... which makes no sense... it is for adults. This menas after 5pm you need to be in a pool full of children. Food stops at the Adult pool at 3pm... again, makes no sense, this is where the customers who are happy to spend are. Some of the restaurant meals are well over priced, but the food cannot be faulted. Beach front is pretty average and if you want to snokel you really need to book a proper trip. This is our second time to Fiji, if you stay here, it is 1.5hours from the port... meaning any island activities will involve 3hrs travel to get to the port and back to the hotel. The resort is getting a bit tired, tennis court is run down and beuilding exteriors. There is smoking area out the front of the ocean view rooms..... this really should be moved, not pleasant to walk through.
Having everything located on the resort means there is little reason to travel anywhere. So if you want a fly and flop it is a great location. It's also great it has an Adult pool. The hillside massage area is also amazing. Not advertised well, but the resort has a really nice driving range that is worth visting. Staff are amazing, I left my phone in a taxi and they rushed and rang community booth, tour operator etc and ensured I got my phone back. We also had seen a young girl left in the pool and starting to drown, fijian staff ran into the pool in seconds, despite parents at fault and being their responsibility.

AustraliaWe came from the renovated Sofitel and it was a bit of a shock to arrive at Outrigger, it is very much outdated. The aircon broke first night, and Our first room had a wonky and noisy ceiling fan as replacement. The fly screen was broken. In the second room, the shower didn't work properly and you could not have the shower head / the bath tap separately. The breakfast buffet is chaos and messy, they do not provide your normal coffee / diary free milk. It feels very busy around the pool, and it is a fight to get sun-chairs with shade, especially if you have a baby. The chairs are highly uncomfortable and were in the process of being replaced as we left. There is a small and very pricy supermarket on-site, you can't walk to a bigger one. Smoking is allowed in the resort in some designated area, such as right by the beach (!) or on balconies, so we could not enjoy the balcony and had to close the doors. For $500/n with no food, I wish it could have been better.
The welcome and the staff at the resort are amazing (especially if it is your bday!) The resort itself is well-kept, very green and maintained. The sunset and sandy beach in front of the resort is appreciated. Nice food at the Sundowner restaurant, and the fish dinner buffer was great. The daily cultural activities and shows are a nice plus. If you have children, prob a great place to be. If you have a baby or just couple/adult, I would not stay there.
