“This is a very special place, which really impressed us. It's great value for the price. The standard of the room, communal areas and the pool was very high, akin to a high end boutique hotel. In a good way, the property feels in the middle of nowhere - down a long dirt road, in beautiful countryside. It's very low key and quiet - we spent a good part of one day by the pool, and there was no one else about. We had it to ourselves. The owner was always available if needed but in the main left us to our privacy. Up the road, a 10 minute drive away is the lovely village Tourtour, perched on the hill - great for evening meals (lots of choice for a village) and sunset drinks, and wandering round during the day. We stayed in 8 different hotels, B&Bs and guest houses on a 2-week trip in S France, some of which were considerably more expensive than Domaine Monte Verdi, but it was without doubt the best place we stayed.”

Their house is beautiful and set in a peaceful location. The room was in a private area of the house, it was spacious and clean.
