Kitchen knives could have been sharper

Staff were efficient and very friendly, public areas nice and clean. The apartment itself was lovely, well-equipped and clean, with excellent mixed lighting and plenty of electric sockets. We were on the road side but sound insulation was excellent, so no noise at night. Didn't use the pool or have breakfast but both it looked nice. Parking outside was easy and not too expensive. Would definitely stay here again.

The area between the hotel and station seemed very run down and dirty, unlike the centre which was beautiful - I wish we’d stayed there. It could be we just didn’t take a very nice route when we walked to the centre?

Very quiet, nice comfortable beds, great bathroom and good value for money. The breakfast was really good too.

The surrounding area was quiet, with few eateries or activities to do for the night for a solo traveler. But it was very near the train station so no complaints!

Close to the train station, room was spacious and comfortable and clean. There's a shortcut to the city centre (walkable up a hill within a 10min walk)

We were given the accessible room. I assume is because we were travelling with a dog but it meant the room was not as comfortable as the other standard ones.

Comfortable apartment we have stayed in before ten years ago. Well equipped for dish washing crockery and real wine glasses. Kettle. Spacious as expected from this chain. Secure parking. Short walk through the garden up the steps at the rear for short cut towards the great town centre. Stayed two nights. Ensure to ask for a quieter room at the back.

The big and well appointed rooms

Air con only cycled - so it was not always cold, it was cycling humid air sometimes, then would have bursts of cold. This made the room damp. Also, the air source must have been near smokers/smoking space, so the room would fill with the smell of cigarette smoke regularly in the evening (between 9pm and midnight/1am). It was unpleasant. Toilet was clean BUT the lid and wall! had poo splashes. I cleaned it because I only entered the room late in the day. :( Unfortunately the internal laundry was not available in the days I needed, so I went to one a walk away which was in a way better because it accepted card.

Room had air con. Kitchen was simple but well equipped. Good storage space in cupboard. Room cleaning was efficient and happened once during our 9 day stay. It was close enough to the centre of the town AND excellent distance from the train

The parking is limited and has to be booked in advance but there are options nearby or on the street outside.

The hotel is close to the city centre, the train station, buses and the motorway. Also the airport is only 15 minutes by taxi. Car hire companies are also nearby. The continental breakfast buffet was very good also.

Rather dated - but fully functional and clean.

Pleasant reception. Secure parking. Easy walk into old town. Quiet room considering hotel location on a busy road - we had a room near the rear. Comfortable bed.
