We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe bed was quite uncomfortable, really hard mattress. You can hear your neighbors while doing the dirty, the TV across the hall. No soundproofing whatsoever.
It was closed to the Eiffel tower , 20 min walk, 1 hour walk to the Louvre Museum if you like to walk , and closed to metro station to go anywhere you want to.

I tried to change my check dates due to the Paris strike from 1st of May and even if the chosen dates were available and I got the confirmation from one reception employee and then I changed also the flight dates, the second day I called them to confirm the changes via e-mail and they changed their mind saying that is not possible. After several calls between me and the lady from there, Booking and so on, she constantly refused to accept our proposal, even if we didn't want a refund and we offered to pay extra fee just to stay there. The situation was uncertain for several days and she promised at some point that she'll expose it to her manager and to give us finally an answer she ended up ignoring us and Booking staff and everyone, right until the check in date to lose our money. We almost gave up on our vacation because of this and we didn't expected to be treated with so much disrepect just because we're not french. People who work here are not well trained to work with other people and emphatize with their problems...

BulgariaThe hotel is a bit claustrophobic. The twin room we were in was quite small, which was not what I expected based on the pictures. I think the location of the hotel is what makes it worth the price, but the overall look of the room and/or hotel is okay. We were out most of the day, so I guess just for sleeping the hotel room did the job.
The hotel's location is great, close to the center and close to a metro station that you can take to anywhere around Paris. The neighborhood was also nice and quiet and felt pretty safe. The hotel and room were overall clean.

Excelent service, the room was perfect, people at the front desk speak several languages and they are very helpful. The location is excelent, close to the metro, Safe to walk at night, we could see the Eiffel tower all around the area. This hotel was a great choice for our vacation, there are very good restaurants, cafés, boulangeries, stores, even a Lafayette in the mall one block away. I'll be back to Alizee Grenelle for my next vacation.

United StatesCustomer service needs to improve. Of the 3 people who attended reception, only one of them was friendly. Hotel management did not care about the problem that Housekeeping personnel was stealing my daughter's creams. Their explanation for the theft of the creams was that "we left the room open when leaving the hotel and that surely another guest entered the room." I believe that an illogical answer like this shows that they knew about the problem and have no interest in solving it.
The hotel was very comfortable with clean and modern rooms compared to the regular offer of hotels in Paris. Excellent location close to a Metro station, coffees, restaurants and a shopping mall. There is also a bakery nearby. A 15 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower.
