My stay at L'Amantine was amazing. Marion speaks impeccable English and is so friendly - she went out of her way to ensure I was able to eat breakfast despite my early departure. (The breakfast was spectacular - with homemade jams and yogurt, fresh pastries and baguettes from the nearby bakery and more). My room had a skylight window that featured a view of the cathedral. Such a great memory !

Beautiful old town house in the heart of the lovely old town with a sweet and charming hostess. Parking is on the street, can be a bit full, you need to pay from 9am, but our Marion did that for us from her phone, it wasn't expensive. She also came out and down the street to help us in with our bikes and bags, recommended a good restaurant, offered to book for us. We had a very nice breakfast and chat with Marion. Hoping to stay with her again!

Everything was fabulous. The location was very central and easy to walk to restaurants and bars. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. A lovely place to stay.

Marion is beyond a doubt an exceptional host. Nothing is too much trouble, from picking us up from the train to booking restaurants. Our room was comfortable and clean, great bed and shower.

This is a stunning building in the historic centre of Bourges, renovated to a high standard. Marion was a wonderful hostess and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. She looked after us and our dog beautifully.

The only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

A beautiful old house, run by a lovely lady. The location was excellent, and the facilities were top notch. Most of all, the host was one of the nicest and most genuine people we have ever met. This booking rates at the top of the places we have stayed, and I would recommend it to anyone

We had an amazing stay at this bed and breakfast! The hostess was incredibly welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for her. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough, and our room was very spacious. Yes, the staircase could be a bit challenging for some, but she informed us about this well in advance. For us, the stairs were not an issue, even with two bags. Parking was also easy with plenty of options available. We chose City Hall parking, which cost €11 per day, and it gave us peace of mind knowing our car was in a safe place. Bourges itself was fantastic, and everything was within walking distance, which made it perfect being right in the heart of the city. Make sure to visit Villa Monin and enjoy a (non-alcoholic) cocktail—it was simply amazing! I didn’t want to leave this wonderful place, and hopefully, we’ll have the chance to return one day. Thank you for making our holiday so special!"

Nothing to dislike.

We had an amazing stay at L’AMANTINE. Host Marion went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and welcoming. Large bedroom with wonderful amenities. Well behaved dogs are also welcome. Breakfast was delicious; fruit, juice, yoghurt, preserves and delicious pastries from the local patisserie. Superb location in old town Bourges. What an amazing City! We will return.

This is a very classy establishment! The house is absolutely beautiful, dating from 1561 with an interesting history and is in a fantastic position within the old town. The lovely, large living area downstairs is for guest use so you're not shut away in your bedroom if you don't want to be. We were given a key so could come and go as we pleased and didn't feel that the host had to wait in for us, which was nice. The bedroom was a very good size and the bathroom was unusually large with a huge, super shower. Marion was extremely welcoming. She speaks excellent English and was happy to spend timing telling us about the house. She took the trouble to find out which restaurants were open on a Monday night and couldn't have been more helpful regarding Bourges itself. Breakfast was delightful and we were sorry that we only had one night there. We were able to park right outside but there was plenty of other parking on street very close to the house as well and very inexpensive and convenient as you can 'feed the meter' and don't have to keep on moving.

We actually liked it - as it was part of the fantastic and old house - but you need to climb a narrow stairs.

This is a true jewel! Three fantastic spacious rooms and a communal kitchen and living room- all equipped with new and modern equipment. We could choose one of the rooms which all are with a great bathroom. Superb bed. And then the best is that all this is in a 16th century authentic townhouse in the center of fantastic Bourges. The host tops things - she was super hospitable and provided great insights on what and how to discoverin Bourges.
