Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SudanThe standard room is very small and shower inside the room so very uncomfortable if more than one person sharing the room. The double doors in some of the rooms is a serious challenge.

And food crumbs remained on the floor throughout our stay Only provided water for the first day Bathtub had many scratches on the floor which made us feel uncomfortable to use it as it made it look dirty No value for money.

United Arab EmiratesThe mattresses are super hard, we had 2 rooms the light barely enters one of them, The rooms don’t have key cards, they have normal keys which you need to deposit at the reception every time you leave the rooms. The mugs had coffee stains in them
The only good thing about the property is its location

United KingdomThe property is very close to the arc de Triomphe, within 5 minutes walk. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very good and looked after the room keys while you are out and about in the city. We attended for our honeymoon and we were upgraded to the superior double room and the staff left a congratulations note with some chocolates and rose petals. They were more than happy to keep bags for us until the room was ready and same on check out. Couldn’t recommend this place enough

IrelandThe shower leaked from the bathroom into the bedroom and there was water everywhere - we had to use all the towels we had and go out and request more while the room was soaking wet
I didn’t like anything bar the location , they had this weird policy where every time we left the hotel we had to give our room key to the reception desk and then collect it when we returned , we have been to a lot of cities and Paris once before and never had this issue , the hotel also lies about its rating as it’s listed as a 4 star on booking but it’s only a 3 star and you can see this as you enter the hotel , the first room we had was so small we had to ask for another one , the lift to go upstairs was small and as narrow as a lift can be and all the lights were turned off , I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

United StatesRoom was so hot and it was winter. There was no way to adjust the temperature lower. I generally had the window open just to get a reasonable temperature. It was cold outside so the room had freezing breezes, but at least I wasn't sweating. The street was a bit noisy all night with the window open, so I never got great sleep.
Location was right in the middle of the city. Being close to the arc was great.

United StatesDespite being in my 40s, the hotel requires patrons to surrender their room keys at the front desk each time they leave, an unusual and inconvenient practice. Failure to comply results in staff pursuing guests even outside the premises. Upon return, they don't request identification when providing the room number, giving an unsettling impression similar to a hostel or dormitory. Moreover, the staff lacks coherence. During check-in, a female attendant informed me about an unexpected tax on the room, not mentioned on booking.com. I paid without issue. Yet, at check-out two days later, a male staff member claimed I hadn't paid the tax and would not let me leave without paying AGAIN. The evident lack of communication among the staff extends beyond room key procedures. When I sought a receipt on the second occasion, the printer malfunctioned, leaving me without proof of payment—a situation that raises concerns about the hotel's integrity... otherwise known as a SCAM. This experience has been disappointing, and I am inclined to dispute the double tax charge through a chargeback at my earliest opportunity.
The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable—meeting the standard expectations for a check-in.

United KingdomWeekend away with brother & partner. We booked two standard rooms, they were so different. My brothers room had a bathroom, although not very well maintained. The bathroom window was nailed shut, and there was lots of missing grout.. Ours had a poky toilet that you could hardly move in with the door closed, shower cubicle in room. Dreadful drain smell in the middle of the night made us feel quite sick. Cleaning of the sink, toilet rim, and shower drain are not good. Don't look too closely !! Breakfast was not enticing at all. We went over to the illy coffee cafe a few minutes away.
Situated close to the metro and rer line. Comfy bed.

PakistanSmall street , dirty. Only person in reception. Very small room. Could not even open the suitcase. The bathroom window had mold. And the sink was in the room, not in the bathroom. Hallways dark with lights on short timer and no light where the room was. Reception kept the physical key when coming and going. The plan was to say three nights but left to Marriott the next day for the rest of the trip. Day and night!
Really, it was the worst place I have ever stayed. How in this world Booking.com says 4 stars... Motel 6 is a luxury place compared to this.

IrelandThere were v few hangers in the wardrobe (which for a couple can be an issue). The pillows were v thin which doesn’t help sleep, although the bed was a good size. There was no real bar area at the hotel. It’s a place to use as a base rather than expecting to have a drink or a coffee in the lobby.
The location is excellent v close to Ave Wagram. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was quite a good size by Paris standards.
