Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The mezzanine section in the room was far too hot with no way to reduce the temp. The walls are paper thin. Forget breakfast if you or a child have allergies.

Airconditioning broken, room boiling hot, no staff to assist, could not drive in to check in, had to park in front of gate, walk in, check in and go back to car whilst blocking entrance.
Nothing, I won't come back.

We didn’t like anything
We couldn’t control heating and all night it was like burning furnace Steps were soo steep and my sim fell and hurt his back We complained to reception but they said they couldn’t do anything and we want to complain formally It was waste of money

It was mentioned that the hotel is with air conditioning and it’s sound proof but apparently there are no Aircon and we have to open the window. It was so noisy at the corridor. The bath was leaking on one of the room and it just adds on to the noise level .. bad experience

The air conditioning did not work which meant that the mezzanine floor was like a sauna. None of us slept at all!

Unfortunately our room smelled of cigarettes on arrival. The bathroom was also not as clean as we would have hoped. Facilities were very basic. Limited sound proofing.
Really friendly staff on reception, who made us feel very welcome. It is not far from the autoroute, so ideal for a stop off during a long drive. It is reasonably priced so you do get what you pay for. Lots of food outlets nearby.

Auto-check in machine didn't work so spent 20 minutes hanging around in the cold before 'duty manager' could be raised. Then they somehow double charged me. When I pointed this out to the same staff member in the morning the reply was literally a shrug and asked if I could come back to reception at 2pm that day?!? Then it was a dismissive "well I can't do anything, call this number next week". Finally after standing my ground amidst repeated refusals to do anything we got to the correct answer of "I can't do refunds, but I'll take a note of your details and get this fixed when my manager gets in". All this could have been avoided by starting with "I am sorry for my mistake, leave it with me and I'll get it fixed" and they would have had time to sort out the breakfast chaos they were trying to run in a clearly inadequate sized space.

very bad they charged for 4 rooms even though we had only booked 2 rooms, still waiting for a refund from them, beds that constantly creak as soon as you move and very small bathroom that is almost impossible to use good parking place close to grocery stores

Couldn't fault it. Simple and no frills. Checked in on computer with reference number, gave a code for your room and WiFi. Was easy to do. Room was spacious and clean. Had tv and towels. Great value for money. Was near a McDonald's to grab the children some dinner after a long drive.

Room looks bigger on the photos but it is not a lot of space especially if you travel with kids .Very basic room .People smoke on the balconies so you can't open the windows .Very loud air-conditioning.
Very friendly staff .Close to the shops and motorway.

Looked nothing like the pictures. No natural light didn't like the idea of a code used for the room so anyone could access if they know the combination. Ended up not staying.
