FranceWe had asked for a low 'étage' and indeed were put on the ground floor. Unfortunately the room smelled of dog. We were changed to a new room on the First Floor without any difficulty. Possibly hotels would lose business if they don't accept dogs (this hotel charges an extra price of 6 Euros for dogs), but perhaps they should allocate special rooms for people with dogs.
The rooms are minimalist but have everything and are very clean. The breakfast is cheaper than most hotels and very complete. There is a very good restaurant La Brasserie easily accessible 3 minutes drive away. The on site parking is very convenient. We have stayed here many times, easily accessible from the motorway.

LatviaEverything has always been top notch for this price, but not this time. We have been staying at this hotel for 4 years (twice a year). They raised the prices for accommodation, BUT it got worse. The floor is very dirty (the child walked in socks and the socks were black). No hand towels. It got worse in the hotel and for the next trip we booked a hotel in Valence.

For an overnight stay on the way somewhere by car, this place is ideal. Not far from the motorway, fast food places nearby, open late if one arrives late, on top of which the hotel offers something simple to eat. Beds are comfortable. Parking, with a gate that is closed for the night, though opened for clients of course, makes the free parking safer. The price is fair for what you get. Breakfast quite OK for the price.

United KingdomNot much in the area, but that’s not the fault of the accommodation! We were only given 1 very tiny pillow each. We were all too tired to go and request more at bedtimes, so my recommendation would be to have some spare pillows in the rooms or provide better pillows. As we didn’t ask for more, I am unsure if more were available, so that is my own fault :)
The b&b was similar to what we expected- basic but comfortable accommodation- perfect for after a very long drive from England. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced (we hadn’t included it in our booking as it only stated ‘breakfast available, pay at property’). Price was €7.50 adults and €4 for children, I think.

Breakfast was perfectly in accordance with price. The hotel is well situated for visiting MONTELIMAR and also within a very short distance of the motorway for onward journey. Furthermore, the distance from the main road enables one to sleep undisturbed.

SwitzerlandI didn’t like the fact that the staff didn’t speak English, nevertheless they were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was poor. It is France, you should have fresh croissants and fresh bread.
Nice place, not too expensive, comfortable bed, and quite clean! Private parking was superb. Supermarket and a couple of fast food restaurants were nearby. Couldn’t find any restaurant to sit and eat, most of them were closed permanently. There were many nougat artisan nearby to buy if you wanted. That was amazing. Montélimar is cute to walk around. It is a pity I don’t have time to try the wine.
