Perfect location in the old port with beautiful views from our room. Lovely, friendly staff and a great oldy worldy feel to the bar/restaurant. Rooms were very clean and modern-would stay here again!

Room had gutter smell, hotel staff came to put liquid down the drain however it did not resolve issue. No lift from ground floor (it seems its according to local laws) still not ideal if u have heavy luggage. Staff was kind to help though. No car parking or drop off area.

The entrance to the hotel is not beautiful and the stairway and reception area cramped, dark and dingy. However, when you arrive in your room and find such comfort there, this seems less relevant. But first impressions count and maybe these areas should be next on the hotel's list of future improvements. We cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not use it.

We had booked a room for 2 nights with a view over the old port and were grateful to be up-graded to a room giving us a bit more space. Our room was very comfortable and bright and it was lovely to be able to open the window and see everything going on below, equally impressive when everything was lit up at night. Sadly, when fierce rioting by the populace started up, violence and damage began taking place all over the city. Luckily, most foreign tourists were spared seeing much of the commotion, but not hearing it, or seeing some of the after effects the next morning which were dreadful. There was a huge police presence with queues of police cars/vans/fire engines/ambulances/explosions/tear gas/smoke/sirens coming in waves throughout the evening which we watched from above, but we were thankfully able to close our windows and not be disturbed over night by the rioting happening all around us.

The AC had to be set by the front desk, so we didn’t feel ours worked very efficiently to cool down the room.

It had spectacular views of the port. The only issue we had was the AC was controlled by the front desk, so it didn’t cool the room off. The bed was super comfy, and the staff were very accommodating.

Sometimes there was a smell in the bathroom. Temperature of the room can't be controlled in the room but you need to ask the person at the front desk to adjust the temperature

Location is perfect. View on the port was very nice. Size f the room was enough. Bathroom seems to be new.

Unfortunately the air conditioning was not good enough or simply wasn’t working properly when we were there. We weren’t able to get the room temperature below 24 degrees. The staff tried very hard to help, by re-setting it for us, however it didn’t get any better during the night (we only stayed the one night).

The location and view from the rooms were wonderful, right on the Old Port. The staff were very responsive and helpful. Rooms were modern and very clean. The hotel bar had a great view.

the safe (for keeping passports and money) was hilarious. My partner brought it out of the cupboard, held it in his hand and showed me! hehehe And the fridge.... also hilarious. The only thing that worked on it was the light - temperature was 'room temperature'

Rooms were quite small. No hairdryer in room. Coffee or tea had no been topped up in the room.

The room was tiny and much too small for 2 people. The shower drain had not been cleaned and was blocked so flooded the bathroom floor until i realized what the problem was. I had to clean it.

I would definitely not add "breakfast" to your reservation. It was simply not very good and was not worth the price we paid. I would suggest going out a hundred meters or so from the hotel to one of the many nice restaurants located in the "Old Port" areas.

The room was updated, of a good size and had and excellent view of the "Old Port". It was also in a good location for sightseeing, eating and walking.

The ventilation in the vommunal spaces could be better.

The staff was extremely helpfull. Even in one of their busiest moment, they gave us their valuable time and guided us through the system and detect our suitcase we forgot in the train. Location perfect, room comfortable and clean.

I had read in the booking confirmation that there was dinner available for 20 euro, but when asked at the hotel I was told it was only tapas. However, the bar area/restaurant was always crowded in the evening and no tables available on both nights I was there. Neither was I able to reserve. This was disappointing.

I was upgraded and had a lovely room with a great view of the port. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It is also very near the centre of the town, so very convenient. Breakfast was adequate. The staff were very pleasant, and I was helped down the stairs with my suitcase when I left.
