Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Was a Hotel Campanile when booked WITH restaurant. Became BnB Hotel.. Would have been nice to know that they no longer had one Disappointed.

Rooms bit small but for one night stop over it was fine and clean and tidy rooms with AC
Very friendly and helpful receptionist, one room was not right and she was happy to help and swap rooms. Very easy and great locations for over night stay

One towel for the face even though it is reserved for two people, there is no refrigerator in the room, the water in the shower is sometimes cold, sometimes hot.
It is not for a long stay, it can pass for one night.

Not much inside the room for toiletry. Don't forget your toothbrush, your comb or shaving cream, else you will look like a tramp.
Nice location close to city centre and a couple of shopping malls. Quiet place off the main roads, but easy to access. Very good breakfast. which is not always true in France !

There was no elevator and we had to carry our luggage upstairs.
The hotel met our expectations for a night on our way to Avignon.

Breakfeast is mediocre. Baguettes and croissants are from the ofen insteas of the bakery which is unusal for France.Would not book breakfast again.
Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Stayed for 1 night.

the hotel was easy to find. check in staff welcoming and the room was as expected in a Campanile. the breakfast was good and as always the parking was very good. restaurant was closed but Buffalo Grill within walking distance.

Carpeting everywhere but it looks clean enough.
Stayed there for the Festival d'Avignon, a bus stop is close by and the bus conducts directly to the center of Avignon. Staff was friendly and helpful. Air con works fine!

The breakfast was not good. We were not late to go to breakfast, there were many guests arriving after us; but there were no croissants or baguettes. I think someone really under estimated the guest level or didn't place the bakery order! This was very disappointing. A French breakfast should be a joy, but was an expensive failure.
The room was clean and comfortable. We have stayed at this Campanile before; it is ideally located for an overnight stay when en route to the Riviera.

Closed restaurant, no possibility to order at least a beer.
Breakfast tasty, although I expected a typical hotel breakfast ie sausages, scrambled eggs. Bread delicious and fresh, a large selection of cold cuts. Warm and fresh crosants. On the disadvantage lack of vegetables

The location of the Hotel is in the Suburb and not so ideal if you dont have your own car. Perfect location for a business trip or for a stop over sleep and go.
The Hotel offer standart services of B&B. Clean Rooms, with Breakfast option next to the main road. Internet works pretty well. Not exceptional but ok for a stopover.

It was a bit cold and the cooling/heating system just couldn't heat the room enough - because of the big gaps around the door (and we were traveling in January)
The breakfast was pretty nice and tasty. The lady was very kind and friendly.

The breakfast has to be pre-booked 24 hours earlier and such service takes end before 10.00 am so too early and too many steps to the lastminute clients.

Maybe shower can be improved (hot/cold) and I was missing a swimmingpool ;-) but nothing really to complain finally
It is like a motel. Little bit outside town but fine. I like the breakfast very much. Every day cleaning. Also staff is very friendly. Location for me was ok but if you want to be in the beautiful old town you need to take bus C3 to University and St Lazare. But works very well. Internet ok. Nice parking spot for your car.

Other guests smoking in the outside breakfast area. I guess you cannot doi anything about that, but to non smokers it's a put off.
