Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

a bit too far from the centre, but close enough to the underground. rooms are small - ok for the price. parking not included, but only 5 euros +.

Noise from nearby train track. Nowhere near enough table space for Breakfast when hotel is busy. Guests being asked to go back room and return in 30 minutes etc.

The rooms are not sound proof (even to the outside). Some guys (I am guessing they are used to staying there) were talking outside, in front of their room (which is right next to our room, it being like a motel), late, loudly. Also we were told by the staff that traffic jams are common on the highway just outside the hotel, and therefore we had to plan to leave a bit earlier than we had wished.
Parking was easy (but I believe we had to pay), breakfast as varied and fresh. The staff was friendly

location. difficult to get to. Breakfast had had mostly been eaten within half an hour of opening. They didn’t tell us they didn’t serve dinner until we got there.

No eggs for breakfast. Our toilet would not flush properly so that was a bit of a nuisance.
You get what you pay for. Breakfast was very good. Very close to subway station where you can take the metro to the center of Lille or even Roubaix. Lots of parking but they charge for it. Price for parking is not that high.

The hair dryer was not working and we couldn't find any proteins in the breakfast menu.

AVOID!! The rooms are like a motel, Very dated and could do with a freshen up! The restaurant was closed during the stay. Rooms were occupied by locals smoking drugs, The smell was coming into our rooms, Nobody seemed to be bothered. There was also another room that had all different men coming and going from it. Needless to say we didnt stay the 2 nights that we booked, We requested a refund and left. We then checked in to another hotel 5 minutes away called b&b hotel, it was very nice, Modern, Secure and there staff were 10/10

I forgot my jewellery in my room and have messages this hotel for its return and they have never contacted me back, so I consider it stolen. The breakfast is very poor and the pastry is not fresh for the high price. Room is extremely small. The toilet in the bathroom had an unbelievable smell.
The staff was friendly and welcoming.

The receptionist was nice, and the location was easy to find. The room was clean and quiet, and there was plenty of space for the car. It was perfect one night during our long trip. Would recommend it, and we will return in the future 🤗

Breakfast options not very extensive but ok. Got connecting rooms but connecting door was not opened which caused some difficulty.

It wasn't really clean and a little bit outdated. That's not a problem, but it just wasn't clean and some stuff in the room was broken. It felt even cheaper than it actually was. I did not feel like the breakfast was worth what you had to pay (13 euro something) very limited options. Overall I would only stay here if you were traveling, had no other options and just needed a place to sleep. Tip: Don't take the breakfast but go to Lillenium shopping mall, various options and a big supermarket.
Location and size of the rooms, you have a lot of privacy and can park your car if you need to. 24 hour access and security, your car will be safe.

They allow dogs inside. One night I couldn’t sleep because of dogs barking in some rooms. Only one window which opens to the corridor and internal garden, which makes it very difficult to have privacy. When it is hot, you have to open the window, so no privacy nor feel of security.
Cozy and simple. Good for the value. Beds are clean and comfortable. Room service clean and change sheets and towels every day without asking.
