In the corridor and the room there was a burning smell like of plastic. Got better when I turned of the heating. Room is fine but a bit small for staying during the day.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and a cosy bar at the entrance. Near to the station - 10 min walk - and to the city centre. Nice yard with chairs. Good bathroom.

The reception staff gave me a room upgrade and I was very happy with my room. It was in the section with an elevator. The room was very large and beautifully decorated with large windows. It overlooked the main street but there was never.any.noise coming into the room. It was lovely and quiet. The supermarket across the street was very handy. The hotel is perfectly located for an easy walk to the main sites.

The hotel is on the old street of Antibes style, very close to the railway station, the hotel is small and delicate, clean and tidy, the old street is very lively, there is a supermarket on the opposite side, and the tourist attractions are convenient.

We were upgraded to a large bedroom on the upper terrace, which was a kind gesture. However our arrival night was cold and windy. A regular room in the main heated body of the hotel might have been easier. The bedroom was cool on our arrival, which was unsettling as we couldn't work out how to heat it. We went out for dinner and staff had responded to our request to remedy the heating on our return. The room was ok from then on. Breakfast was not relaxed, as my partner had to keep checking that no-one had taken his 'self-service' egg during the 5 mins it was boiling; we ran out of fresh bread one morning, but on the plus side gluten-free bread was available on request.

Our bedroom and bathroom were large and clean, with TV and the ability to make hot drinks. We were on a main street in Avignon yet our room was very quiet, on a terrace which had a pleasant view over the rooftops. We were less than 10 mins' walk from the city's bus and train stations (TGV station is 5km away). Staff were responsive when issues were raised; in particular they told us when and where to catch the (infrequent) bus to the magnificent Pont du Gard, 20 miles away.

A little cold in the room at night, and the shower didn't always heat up 100%

Really really nice location, interesting architecture on the building itself, comfortable room for a good price, staff was all really nice, nice little amenities/bonuses in the rooms themselves, loved it overall!

The hotel does not have a parking. Street is closed to motor traffic. You have to park at a public parking

Close to the papal palace. Clean, modern room and bathroom in a stone building with interesting architecture. Nice staff. Cafe downstairs. There is a nice patio on the roof with a view of the church next door

The cleanliness of the entry to the hotel left a lot to be desired. The room was clean but the floors looked like they had seen better days. The bathroom had been updated, but there was no separation between the shower and the sink, so it tended to get wet beyond the shower area.

The location was handy to everything.

The rooms are small and you have to use the staircase for some.

Very reasonable cost for the location just a couple blocks north of the station so walk because you can’t get a taxi there. It is central to every thing in old Avignon as the name suggests and it’s easy to pop out for a stroll around a few streets, then go back to the hotel to rest. It’s very comfortable with a little restaurant on the main floor with tables in the lobby or on the street so you can people watch. The staff are friendly and can help with travel issues. The breakfast buffet is very satisfying with good variety.

We had a lovely room with a large outdoor terrace in front that served several other rooms. It was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The hotel was walking distance to everything that we wanted to see, including Palais des Papes and the Pont d'Avignon.
