We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our hostess went above and beyond; helpful, friendly, informative, provider of superb breakfasts, with an option for savoury in addition to baguette, yogurt, jams and pastries; almost all homemade. Cannot say enough good things.

United StatesThe property is located down an alley way. There is no parking outside so you have to park up the hill which is about a 7 minute walk. The pool is at the owner’s house and not too close. We booked two rooms. One was in the attic with steep steps up to it. It was under the eaves so there is limited headroom on the sides. The shower was very small for anyone of a larger size. The other room was outside the building and around the corner with a separate entrance. Not ideal if you have children. The alley way was well lit at night but I wouldn’t want to walk it alone. It was a disjointed layout overall and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems due to the narrow staircase. The split rooms would be a problem for families.
The breakfast was a lot of carbs, pastries and bread and there was also hard boiled eggs and cheese. The location was close to the old town of Sarlat and there were a lot of historical places nearby to visit.

FranceOne of the two heaters in our room was broken and not offered to fix so we had to wear jumpers inside. The bathroom sensor light went off after one minute which was very annoying for the toilet or showering. On the bottom level we could hear lots of noise from the kitchen/room above.
It was a great location to walk to the city and the host made a lovely breakfast each morning.
