The location is a few minutes walk to the castle with a castle view. You can prepare coffee and tea. For the weekend stay to discover Carcassonne is a good option

Didn’t like that the “shared bathroom” was on a different floor of the bedroom. Sometimes smelt like cigarette smoke in the common areas, thankfully not in our bedroom.

Perfect location for an overnight stay, that was very close (5 min walk) to the Carcassonne citadel. Street parking was free.

great location, friendly and flexible checkin, nice to chat with the other guests. great coffee! kitchen access was good. bathroom was fine. the shutters and the doors on the balcony were really nice and appreciated. The view of the castle was really cool!

My travel companion did not like being greeted by dogs. We waited for a while (in the scorching heat) before we were let in.

The smell of cigarette smoke in house in the morning was the only downside for me.

Friendly and helpful host, showed me where everything I needed would be and made me feel at home, the bed was really comfortable and the location so perfect for exploring the historic sights! The shower and kitchen facilities were excellent too and the dogs were calm and friendly. You can see views of the walled city of Carcassonne from the bedroom.

The host was nice, decent appartment with views of the castle that was spectacular Lots of shower gels to choose from, Dyson hair dryer availible to use. TV with Disney, Netflix and Amazon prime, so lots to watch air con included too.

I hadn't realised it was a shared bathroom, but that was me not reading the ad properly.... The host and his canine companions were lovely.

Comfortable mattress, everywhere was clean, tidy, and great facilities.... Great view of the castle from a quiet, chilled street.

Hassle free 1 night stay before early morning flight, location is really good, 10 min walk to the castle ,15 min walk to town centre,free parking, sadly jacuzzi wasn't working but it wasn't big deal for us. For the location value is really good. And in the morning only 10 min drive to the airport.

Shared bathroom down a stair. Just not used to that. Really it was just the location that wasn't very nice however it was close to Rue Trivalle across a busy street. Overall a good stay.

Only one thing: the toilet and bathroom area is shared, which I wasn't expecting, and on a lower floor from our room.

The location is excellent for visiting the old town. The room was comfortable, with all the mod cons. Axel, the host, made an effort for us to feel at home. The kitchen area and garden are very good.

Great location, 10-15 min walk from the Cite. Our room overlooked the very pleasant garden, but the other room had a great view of the fortress. This is one of the few occasions i would have paid extra for the view if I had known how good it was. The host was very helpful in explaining features of the apartment. I would Happily stay here again.

It's a "maison d'hôte" which is a different concept. The owners live there. In this concept the owner, a young boy, tried hard to be nice and have everything okay. The place is amazing, you look and see the fortress "la ciré"
