We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWe visited with a small baby and when we arrived in the evening the heating was off, meaning that the apartment was freezing and it took almost the whole first night to warm up to a comfortable temperature. The host asked to use the heating only when we were in, but, over the day, it would get so cold that the evening was again very cold to sleep, especially with a small baby. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper. We contacted the host who came to provide some after 30 minutes, but this was far from ideal. Towels were not provided.
Keys were left in a lock box and it was easy to find. Kitchen was good enough and well stocked, including small amenities. The apartment was spacious for the 4 of us with reasonably comfortable beds.

GreeceWe found used towels and linen and it seemed like owners didnt know that the house had not been cleaned up.We arrived in the afternnon and wanted to have a bath but the towels were not clean.. They came and brought 2 pairs of towels and the second day brought towels from a shop but we could n,t use them because we never use a towel witout washing it before...There was no washing machine and we couln,t use towels,linen as they were used before and smelling bad..Such a pity that persons not proffesional rent their home..Also they said that we took some paper bags that were decorating the house..In our country paper bags are not decoration.!!.in these bags we put garbage!..Also there were no hangers and in the oven was a not cleaned pan..The appartment is about half hour away from strasburg center Definately we would not come back..!
It was a spacious appartment, it could be a very good stay
