The room, in the new modern building attached, was not of the same standard. Clean, but a decent 3 star.

Great location,, the old building of the hotel is very beautiful, staff very friendly and good, parking is a great extra, lovely breakfast.

Room was disappointing! The heating was basically on all the time and the air conditioning was not working.....could not fix this whilst we were there. Also no internet for a day and a half. The room was a little office like (new rooms at the back). This was all rather negative. However, the staff did take some money off the final invoice.

The hotel was let down by a few specific shortcomings. The odd member of the reception staff were not particularly friendly or helpful (the girl on reception when we arrived was extremely friendly and helpful). The restaurant was closed during our stay but to save face the hotel staff told us it was fully booked every night we tried to get a table. There were tea & coffee making facilities in the room but only paper cups were provided. We also had a dangerously broken chair in our room which was reported but not removed or replaced.

Beautiful historic building, well located for centre of town. Good car parking facilities. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great ambiance.

Beautiful peaceful cloisters right in town. The old parts of the hotel are superb. The room was very spacious, the bathroom well equipped and clean, the bed comfortable. Very convenient for the centre.

Breakfast was excellent on our first morning. On the second morning it was chaotic with delays in putting out cutlery, crockery and food. We dined in the restaurant one of the nights and it was average.

It’s a beautiful building, very comfortable, very central. The staff were helpful.

4.00 pm check in (too late), and with only one staff member to manage the process the queue was very long adding additional time to an already late check in time.

Our room had a really short window that looked onto a roof so we couldn’t even see out. The room description should have mentioned this so I could have upgraded before they booked up. We also couldn’t eat at the hotel because the restaurant was sold out.

The hotel is set in a lovely old building. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We had upgraded to an exclusive room which has a view of the courtyard and was large and comfortable and would recommend. There is a small (about 10m) pool in the roof top. a nice area to relax - just needed a roof top bar! The breakfast is comprehensive

The plugs were far from the bed and the bathroom needed another mirror.

Our room was set up for handicap access so the shower was large and walk-in. The pool is small but very clean and the terrace surrounding was very relaxing. Parking was private and with many spaces.

The bottle water wasn’t stocked up after our first day. Air conditioning was broken so I portable unit was set up, unfortunately that meant we had to have the window open and the noise from the outside courtyard kept us awake. No hotel bar either which was disappointing

Ideal if you travel by car, it has a parking. We had nice and spacey room, with a bathtub. There is a rooftop pool. Good breakfast. Nice garden and building.

Due to an ongoing festival in the city it was really hard to get to since many streets were closed. Staff helped with directions over the phone though.

The hotel is located in an old monastery and looks exceptional. Very close to the old city centre. Parking available
