Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesGood option for Paris. Near restaurants, a mall and the metro. But quiet at night. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

United KingdomThe room was compact but very comfortable and really well equipped. While it was small (as to be expected in a city like Paris) it contained everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfy and the location quiet but close to the metro so it was very easy to reach all the major tourists spots.

CanadaClassic room dimensions are typical "tight" for Paris Boutique. Move with care. Desk Chair seat cushion was old and failing, Unfortunately walls appear to be thinner than one would wish. Noisy TV late the one night. No room Fridge. Elevator a lil slow on occasion. Unfortunately Hotel staff upset when they prompted a review and I indicated they were going to get an 8. I don't give 10's, plus it is a boutique hotel with limited amenities.
Front desk staff are excellent, very helpful. Compact quiet room had an VG bed. View across the street and old school gives a nice view of area. Was on 5, so scored a small balcony>>Used as a fridge. Location is very useful. @ Blocks to to Place d Italie with its restaurants, Metro connections, etc. Nearby Gym is Drop in 10E. Room door solid helped cut down hall and elevator noise

GermanyWhen we first entered our room, it was quite cold (around 19°C), and it took a few hours for the heating to warm things up. Another issue was the cleanliness of the toilet; there were noticeable water stains on the closet, which wasn’t ideal. It is an old building, and the isolation wasn’t great – we could hear people walking and talking in the hallway. Also, on the last morning of our stay, the cleaning staff started working in other rooms on the same floor around 9am. Even though we were already up and on our way to breakfast, this could have been a problem for those who wanted to sleep more.
We recently stayed at this hotel and overall, had a pleasant experience. While the location is a bit farther from the main attractions, it’s still within the ring and very well connected to public transport, making it easy to get around. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the staff was friendly and super welcoming throughout our stay - special thanks to Thibault! The breakfast was quite nice, with a good variety of options, though the coffee machine could use an upgrade. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was good, and I would still consider staying here again given the great location and comfortable amenities.

United KingdomI was kindly given an upgrade to a larger room, which was fabulous, but the bathrobes were both missing. However, this was a minor inconvenience during an otherwise very nice stay.
I love this hotel and stay here multiple times per year. It's in a great location just outside the centre of Paris but within easy reach on the metro (10-15 minutes). It's also close to a large shopping centre and cinema, so plenty of things to do nearby too. The rooms are very well designed and the staff friendly and helpful.

United StatesThere really is nothing negative to say about the hotel. My experience was overall wonderful.
The hotel was just beautiful. It was uniquely decorated in such a cozy and inviting manner. We felt so comfortable there our whole stay. The staff really went out of their way to make out stay the best. Thibault and Medy Majda were so friendly, answered all our questions and attended to any requests or issues we had in such a timely manner. I really appreciate the level of outstanding customer service at C.O.Q. Hotel. It makes such a difference when visiting another country.
