The hotel location was really cool and everywhere was easily reachable. I preferred walking around the Lyon center and I enjoyed the city very much. Additionally it was a great pleasure opening the window and viewing the beautiful Rue. My room was viewing fully Basilica de Ainay. It was fantastic and mystical. I would highly recommend this hotel and area. Thank you.

This time we found the breakfast very disappointing. There was no decaffeinated coffee availablle. The hot food offerings were all stone cold probably because the hot plate they were resting on had not been turned on. Staff members were noticeably absent.

This was our third stay. The hotel is in a great location. Staff are excellent and facilities perfect.

As an English person, I would have preferred a better selection of teas in the bedroom together with fresh milk in the mini bar fridge. A walk in shower is easier to use than a shower in the tub

The location of the hotel was great. The self check in system was brilliant and the calls and emails explaining this were really reassuring Bathroom products were lovely The bed was comfy and the temperature of the room was perfect. Lighting was good and easy to work. Breakfast was more than sufficient and the staff were super friendly. NB when making tea, please put the tea bag in the teapot of hot water !! As it was absolutely pouring with rain when we left and our car was a 15 minute walk away, the staff found us an umbrella to take with us - very kind !

Love the idea of the glass, sliding door into the bathroom (reminiscent of a shoji screen) but imagine it could be an issue with some travellers as there is no lock & there is a gap between door & wall on closing the door.

Wonderful: historic nod to the ‘abbey’with exposed stone walls for example but modern & comfortable dining/sitting areas. Incredible attention to detail in furnishings & decor. Very chic but cosy & welcoming at the same time without being ostentatious.

The sliding door to the bathroom was a little bit difficult to open and close - but that was just a very minor point.

While room decor was on trend we found the dark paint color further darkened our otherwise, nice room. This only became apparent while trying to accomplish something requiring fine visual detail work. The shower door seal was also not working properly; resulting in a wet floor if not careful.

The location is superb; quiet, yet close to everything. Staff are cordial snd welcoming. They provide with super recommendations for activities, restaurants and transport. The staff also recognized the celebratory nature of our journey with kind words and kind gestures.
