Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThe walls are relatively thin. There was no fruit, vegetables or protien sources available at breakfast. I didn't like the coffee (it was very bitter) but there were several tea choices (which were good).
The location was perfect for our short stay which included a lot of sightseeing. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especially with regards to finding the places we wanted to go.

United StatesFabulous location! Just a couple of blocks from the Eiffel Tower and Rue Cler. Quiet pedestrian street. Helpful, friendly reception staff. The hotel kept our luggage for us both before we checked in and after we checked out. Hotel has an elevator (but there were still about 5 steps to get to the rooms). Rooms are typically Paris-small sized, and not fancy, but were clean.

United KingdomThe only thing I would say is about the wifi. Having to reconnect each time to get the wifi was a (very) minor inconvenient. I clicked ‘remember me’ on the home page but it didn’t seem to work. That’s it :).
My whole stay was great. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Spacious and comfortable room. The room was amazingly clean and it smelled amazing. I received flowers from my partner and the hotel made sure to leave them neatly on the bed with a vase on the side table. Great service and fab experience!!
