Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I booked a room with a view they were unable to accommodate me for this reservation and booked me another hotel last minute ended up with a room with no view and another hotel

Our room was on the second floor and the stairs were made of wood. Therefore, as the acoustics weren't very good, we could hear everyone climbing the stairs and opening and closing the doors.
We arrived before check-in time and were greeted by Claire who is a fantastic person. She kept our bags for the luggage and sent a message until they had a room available. The hotel is perfect. Very close to the Eiffel Tower and the facilities, bedding and cleanliness were perfect.

Lovely hotel. The room and bathroom size were actually fine despite other reviews saying they were small, and the decor really nice. We had everything we needed and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good and well priced. I will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is at an amazing location with easy access to most sights. I stayed in a beautiful, cozy and clean room with a view to the Eiffel Tower.😍 The staff was super kind and helpful. I would definitely consider returning here.

These are very small rooms even for Paris standards
The location is perfect .. really close to the Eiffel Tower and a lovely section of the city with beautiful restaurants and wine bars.

Room was small but we didn’t really stay in the room apart from a good night sleep so nothing to dislike .
The location is fantastic , lots of nice bars and cafes nearby . Walking distance to many attractions . Staff are so friendly and polite and rooms are clean . Great value for money .

The price of the hotel does not align with the cleanliness or comfort! There was a tiny elevator that could only fit 2 people with no bags, not to mention the spiral stairs that are extremely dangerous! The room was dorm size with no working heat, the smallest bathroom/shower I have ever seen. I picked hair off pillows/sheets. We checked out an entire day early (literally 9 hours after checking in) and I was handed an “invoice”. I had a weird feeling, went back inside to verify that I was checked out and to my surprise NO I WASN’T! I had to press the issue and after a few clicks/asking a mystery person behind the door on what to do, she was able to check me out. We lost an entire night’s stay (over $300) which I completely understand was “policy”, however what I found interesting was all of a sudden we were being issued an $11 refund for city tax that we didn’t have to pay. That only made me realize that they were in fact able to refund the night we didn’t use, just chose NOT to. In addition, I also had to make sure my “pre-authorized” hold of over $300 was released! This hotel is completely OVERPRICED for what they offer and they are far from accommodating. The only good thing is location to the Eiffel tower & that’s what they charge for!

From my top floor single room I could see the Eiffel tower. The receptionist was very friendly. Good neighbourhood.

Paris is a wonderful and extraordinary city, just to be 5 min from Eiffel Tower was a privilege, we only use the hotel for sleeping and taking a breakfast. So the conditions of the hotel is relegated when we are talking about location. No matter the abovesaid the hotel staff was helpful, professional, kind very polite

They put me in a very small room with a two single beds they put them close to each together to let them look like a twin bed. And they covers were so small and i was trembling at night while i was sleeping so i got sick. I got a very bad cold flu

The location was great , yes rooms are small but it’s manageable & wasn’t worried about room size cause I knew I would hardly be in it while being in Paris!! Eiffel Tower is a short 5 minute walk. Staff was friendly each tome I encountered one.
