Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

1. I had superior room booked and they literally gave us smallest room which had nothing in common with the ones on pictures, room did not have a separate bathroom and sink was next to the bed:) when I protested with the reception, who was a middle aged middle height white guy, he called me “putan” in french, thinking I did not know its meaning (means a prostitute). He basically insulted me for not accepting sleeping next to the sink. 2. They finally gave us little bit better room, which had bathroom but with horrible facilities: hairdryer was so dirty that you had to close eyes and mouth to not get something out of it, it worked only 1 minute and needed 2 minutes rest. Shower did not have a shampoo - only hand soap for everything. 3. Room in general smelled bad. And was under a rooftop with low ceiling. Never ever stay in this hotel if there is even a little better choice. I wonder how they get good reviews, maybe for a location only. Overpriced as hell.
Only good thing is the location. Close to 2 central metro lines, safe neighborhood.

Pricing compared to others in area
Easily accessible, clean, quiet, close enough to Eiffel Tower however is still a 15/20min walk

The size of the room, the "table", the shower. I know hotel rooms in Paris are small but this wasn't a room, it was a closet. The bed on one side was right up against the wall, I could barely turn around in the shower without bumping the handle and changing the water temperature, the so called table was a shelf with legs, and whenever we opened our window someone was sitting outside directly beneath our room smoking and the smoke drifted straight up into our room. Also when we first arrived there were hairs on our sheets and pillowcase. Would not recommend or return.

big disappointment. the room in reality did not look at all like in the pictures. disaster. there was no space in the room, it was claustrophobic. it did not even have a window! it was on the ground floor. you could hear people walking and talking all the time. zero privacy. you had to cover yourself with a curtain. the only small window overlooked a small internal patio. and I asked for a room with a nice view. there was mold in the bathroom. the toilet was dirty. Do you know what was the worst? there were stains of dried blood on the sheets. this hotel is a disaster!

Really poor value. I note we stayed for four nights during the Olympics but the room was very small and the bed was too short. My legs stuck out over the edge. Breakfast was not included even though we paid over four hundred pounds per night without option to cancel.
Location was within walking distance to the Eiffel tower.

Extremely noisy air conditioning. No details on refilling dried milk for tea and coffee. Only 1 tea bag. Fridge not cold. Lazy for the extortionate Olympic price.
