Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

like pretty much everything in Paris, it’s a bit pricey, considering the rooms are small and it was during low season.
good location, close to metro station and within walking distance from Eiffel tower.

One of the lights wasn't working in the bathroom, it was rather fluctuating on and off, rooms are not entirely sound proof, one can hear the noise from neighbouring rooms. At the arrival, I was told I would get the first coffee free but later when I asked for it, the other person who sat at night initially resisted and asked me for a couple of Euros. I told him to confirm with the other guy who told me about the coffee but the behaviour appeared a bit off. Later though he did allow me to have my free coffee, thanks to him. No electric kettle in the room but had coffee sachets in the room itself. Perhaps one would have to come downstairs for it l, maybe?
Location is great, can walk till the Eiffel, metro station is also at a walking distance, great room and also have a provision for breakfast, if one wishes. Can keep the luggage safely even after checking out. Rooms may appear to be a bit smaller in size but shouldn't be an issue. Rooms are as displayed in the images, clean and great.

Didn't feel welcome abit off kind of service.
The location was great easy access to food and drinks. About 15min to 20min walk to Eifel Tower. Use Google maps.

Our room was being cleaned at 3pm, after we got back after sightseeing. It was inconvenient and coffee machine in breaky area was not available when we were waiting for our room to be cleaned. Just a minor thing which would not effect a good rating.
Location was perfect for city sightseeing as it was close to the Eiffel Tower (10 mins walk). The bed was nice, bathroom spacy.

The rooms felt a little basic for the price, and also quite small. But they had everything you need for a stay so if you plan to be out exploring most of the time then it is a perfect spot. Showers and toiletries all very good.
Fantastic location, with the Eiffel Tower and surrounding parks and cafes easily walkable, as well as a mini market and a few nice places to have breakfast. The hotel isn't much to look at from the outside, but the staff were really friendly and made our stay very easy and comfortable.

Beds were a little firm for me but otherwise comfortable.
Rooms had everything we needed and nice modern decor / clean. Breakfast was good and storing our bags for us and a nice cup of tea when we got back was very kind. The honesty bar worked well. Staff were very helpful.

Can't switch off AC, there was a light on non stop. If you have light sleep, you will hear all the noises around. Breakfast is extra charge.
Very good location, 10 minutes walk from Eiffel Tour. Clean but small room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows.
