Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast is minimal! The croissants are delicious. But there was only one type of cheese (emmental) and no eggs!
The hotel is next to the gare and to transportation means (buses, trains, trams...). The room was very clean. On the other hand, the breakfast could have been a lot better thought

The room was not very clean and needs some fixing (missing cover on some areas of the door, light switch not working...)
It is extremely well located next to train station and has 24h open front desk

Room was too warm.. Tried the thermostat but no difference

As usual with an Ibis the rooms are pretty small.
The location by the station is very convenient & you know what you're getting with an Ibis. The staff here were very friendly and helpful.

Pillows are too high which made them very uncomfortable to sleep. Very Limited breakfast options for 8.5 euros , so i thought it could be a little bit expansive for what we got as options however it's still not bad
Ideal location one minute away from Gare Part Dieu, Everything is very clean ( bedroom, bathroom, cafeteria ), The room is well devided and organized, enough space, The bed was comfortable , Welcoming and Kind staff

Room too hot. Ok when window open but couldn't sleep with it open due to noise. Didn't like shower in bedroom, thankfully we were a long married couple. Would have been very awkward if friends sharing room.

All ok.
Good value for money. Add on breakfast good value and ready early morning so we could catch our early train. Personal holiday greeting and gift. 2 minutes walk to and from train and bus station, perfect overnight stop when traveling.

Most of the staff was great, very helpful. One notable exception is the lady who invited me NOT to look at her computer screen. But besides that, everything was smooth.

We didn't had the third bed preppared and we had to call reception. They tooked care of it.
Clean rooms, kind staff, good connection with airport and city centre. Good breakfast, not very various but tasty.

One of the ladies at the reception was not very friendly.
The water with gas at the lobby !! Unexpected. And we slept so well in general. The location, meters away from the Part Dieu train station.

The room was very warm, even when we tried to turn the heat down/off. We ended up sleeping with the windows open, which helped a lot (though we could hear the train station right outside our window). So happy that the window opened!
The room was just as represented in photos. Very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Great location!

The additional bed above the main bed could be problem. I and my partnes hit our heads while approaching the bed. I would suggest to the hotel to offer that tipe of beds not for couples, but - for families with a kid only. I would like to advise future customers when booking a room in the hotel to avoid one with 3 beds, if you are only 2 people.
Location is perfect for traveling by train and plane! We arrived in Lyon by train from Geneva to the Central Station to which the hotel is very close. Two days later, to go to the airport, we used the shuttle metro. Its station is about 100 meters from the hotel. That tipe of arrangment is extremely pleasant and convenient for arrival and departure by different transportation means. The hotel is very clean, very new and pleasant to stay for 2-3 nights. Staff is very polite and helpful.
