The reason why we picked this hotel was so that the kids could enjoy the indoor pool after a 7h drive. Although it says in writing in the hotel brochure that children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult to access the pool, we were refused access. No children allowed was the frigid answer. Our room did not have a bathtub to warm up but a shower only. The hotel was too far out of town to visit on foot so we had to call an Uber as I did not feel like drivung again after a 7h drive.

The room was incredibly warm for no reason. Much warmer than outside. Had to get up in the middle of the night to turn the AC on, only to turn it off again because it's not good to sleep with it on. The room is small and the only separation between the lavatory/shower area and the bedroom is a curtain. The breakfast is only from 6 to 10 am, which clearly is too early for people on non-business travel.

The staff were pleasant but being in that location, they need to be able to give very exact advice about getting to the train station, taking a rental car back and how to find petrol stations easily. It seemed the questions were overwhelming to them and unfamiliar. Fortunately we took a drive to the station and the car rental location the evening before our departure or we could have missed our train. One person in our group needed to be dropped in front on the station due to motility issues I felt the consierge wanted to assist but had never been made aware of the issues They were pleasant but suggested they get us a cab when I explained we had a rental car. Perhaps in their training they could be driven around the location to be able to assist more productivly. We could communicate in French or English. I chose to stay at that location solely for its proximity to the TGV station.

It is our second time here and we will never come back. It got really worse in a year. The room was dirty, with hair everywhere. The window was broken so impossible to close it. The bed absolutely uncomfortable with itchy sheets, the pillow is just bad, barely existent. Won’t recommend.

The general smell of the hotel was stale, the elevators could be improved and worst of all, they charged us twice for the room and it took a long time for them to accept their mistake. They treated us as stupid, but thankfully we kept insisting and they ended up refunding us.

Music in bar too loud, nowhere quiet to have a drink, privilege room had adjoining door to non-privilege room with very noisy children. Ruined our stay as couldn’t always use balcony. For the screaming kids. Balcony never cleaned on our 4 days there, same fag end still there when we left, kitchenette had nothing in it. No bowls, cups, dishcloth or even cooking utensils and only 1 dinner plate. We raided the breakfast bar for crockery. Very disappointing compared to what was provided in Staycity. Not worth paying for a privilege room. Would not stay here again.

We had some issues when we checked in our room as there was some weird smell in the room which was coming from shower area. We told the reception and they changed our room straight away. Which was good. We stayed in room 301 and phone wasn’t working in 3 days. We informed the reception as well. But no one changed it. Besides that our stay was good. Menu is very limited, should be more options specially when you’re away from central. We have to go to the city everytime we want to eat something because of limited menu in hotel.

Location was good, close to the station. Breakfast was also good. The guy at the bar who speaks English was very helpful and friendly. A very good size of the room. Pool area and quick service.

Very bad wifi connection in room 203, we complained to the concierge and they gave us the password to the “pro” wifi which was equally bad. Another issue was housekeeping ignoring the “do not disturb” sign, this happened two days in a row (they entered our room despite the DND sign on the door).

Modern, spacious and very quiet room. Concierge staff was friendly and welcoming. Free parking is a nice bonus

The hotel had a couple of rules that was weird. We couldn’t get a cup of coffee in the lounge by itself, you had to order a breakfast to get coffee. Another time we wanted to snack some cheeses, crackers, etc. in the patio area, but weren’t allowed to eat food not purchased at the hotel, even though we wanted to purchase drinks from the hotel to go along with our “outside” food.

Clean rooms and facilities with ample parking. Rooms had a small refrigerator and good water pressure. Good food and bar service. Staff was pleasant. Easy going casual feel to the hotel which has retro 60’s decor which was fun.

We wanted to get some snacks at lobby bar but staff was very careless we even hardly got menu. We wanted to ask to reception on July 5 evening they even did not answer. Finally we returned to room without food. So our stay at hotel was dissapointing…

Housekeeping needs improvement The sheets were not clean enough, and were not changed the second day, although we put the "change sheet" sign on the pillow. Also a pack of food (probably a lunch pack of some staff) were left on our room on the chair, with the oil of croissant leaking from the paper bag to the chair. We told these to the reception staff and she was very interested and took notes. Also the room was small, the bed is so strangely situated facing the window and makes it hard to go to toilet from bed, for the person sleeping on the right side of the bed. And the shower area do not have a door and a bad smell was coming from the shower area.

Too much staff too concerned about themselves, talking loudly while ignoring their guests and their needs. Service was showing a rather considerable upside potential. The food was mostly tasteless while pretentious.

we have booked hotel only because of SPA. when we came (25th Dec, 2 adults and one 4 yo kid) it was closed, we were told that opens tomorrow. plus, additionally charged (not mentioned in the booking). Next day when we came to SPA, personal told us that we had to book a slot to enter it and that kids are not allowed to enter it at all (!). It was extremely disappointing. Especially the fact that these rules are not written anywhere, as well as should be declared at the time of booking!
