Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomConcern regarding low bedroom ceilings in places and risk of hitting head on wooden bars if rising in darkness at night - hence comment regarding facilities, which were otherwise fine. Low bars both close to double and single beds. Nearly had pilow fight with wife when half asleep as the pillow was over a metre long running across double bed - single pillows more advisable.
Lovely fresh strawberries and croissants for breakfast and good kitchen facilities. Mme laid out lovely continental breakfast.

United KingdomNot a dislike but stairs were a bit tricky.
We loved the property’s authenticity and quirkiness. Greeted by cats and chickens on our arrival, we very much felt we were in the centre of a rural village. Emanuelle and Mercedes were great hosts.

AustraliaThere is no places to eat in Lederzeele so you need to travel a little bit to other villages or town for dinner.
The hosts were very friendly, although they did not speak a lot of English. Breakfast was good along with nice home made jam. The down stairs common area was nice and cosy.

United Kingdomeverything was good! nothing was bad!
Excellent breakfast. Very nice kitchen plus dining area with crockery and cutlery, available to guests to prepare own hot or cold light meals to eat in, and a lounge area. The location seems nice and safe. Easy safe parking within the property gates. Very comfortable bed, nice room with tea/coffee facilities provided in the room, good en suite bathroom, everything was scrupulously clean. Tip top! Lovely hosts close by in the adjacent farmhouse.

United KingdomWhen you arrive in the dark it would be helpful to have some signs to indicate where we should park. Like some others we accidentally drove over the lawn 😕
Our room was beautifully decorated and I loved the pretty bathroom. A real treat to be able to have a bath instead of a shower!Breakfast was brilliant with local and homemade produce including fresh fruit salad, yoghurts from the farm and cheeses. Very friendly and everything possible was provided. Dog friendly and best of all a truly comfortable bed.

United KingdomNot very good sound insulation between rooms. (But we were nevertheless very happy customers)
Very friendly hosts. The nicely equipped kitchen + recreational room for the use of guests is a boon. Also the kettle in the room is much appreciated. Excellent shower. Nice spacious clean bathroom. Nice and clean. Room and bedding was clean and fresh. Room was of reasonable size and had character (but some bending under an exposed roof truss was required to access the far side of the bed). Nice breakfast. Pleasant rural location with parking on site within view of the room.

FranceIt was quite difficult for one of us to get into bed as it necessitated climbing around a beam! I suggest that in some way that could be changed. In spite of being described as a double room, there was only one chair!
Breakfast was excellent and the owners were charming and very helpful. The room and bathroom were delightful and very very clean.

Francethe door makes some noises, you probably wouldn't notice it during the day, but we were really unlucky that our dog needed to go out during the night, and with a baby sleeping in the room, the noise sounded 10 times worse.
very friendly and welcoming hostesses, beautiful and calm area, was perfect for a relaxing weekend. great breakfast, continental but full of choices. there are 2 stairs to go up, with 2 rooms on each side, if you booked 2 rooms and would like to stay together, better to let the host know about this.
