Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe woman at the reception was the most rude one in existence. When we told her that the room had insects and that the room was dirty she didn’t want to listen to it and told me te contact booking.com. You have more chance to find the Ark of Noah than a clean spot in this room. -I found insects. -The shower and toilet was 1 by 1 -The room wasn’t isolated, i heard my neighbor snoring. The pictures on booking are not what the room look like. I rather sleep in a hotel 2 towns from Paris and walk 7 hours to the eiffel tower than spending another night in this disgusting thing that they call a hotel room. Worst hotel in Paris.
only that its close to the eiffel tower

FranceMore than 200 € per night for this is a shame even the best friendly welcoming. Desk office ok (normal) the rest of the hotel / rooms have to be completely renovated. Keys have to be stored between desk assistant hands (parking and rooms), the furnitures are like your gran-gran mother style. No safe. Curtains repurlsive. carpet with stains and mark. Elevator system like godds-lift, the smallest shower I have ever tested (stop to breath before soaping), etc....etc...
The team very friendly and helpful. Nice location. Cover bed and bed sheet clean and soft. That's all.

FranceJust one positive thing its location. If you would like to wake up close to Eiffel Tower its good location. But about cleaning, it's not like in pictures. When we just came to bathroom, we found long women hair on the towel, and in general, you just not feel comfortable, very cold, and not have air condition. As well very not comfortable check out 11:00.

EstoniaThey say the style is "rustic" to me and any other it would mean vintage, but there its just rusty. Maybe there Are some nice-ish rooms someplace. But for me, neist way to put this, would be the words of my ten year old sons "dad this is a pice of **** can we please leave"
Not mutch. Customer service was actually Nice.

MoroccoThe original room we paid for was smelly like an old grandmother and the bed was incredibly painful to merely sit upon next to the yellow stained toilet with bursts in the walls and dark brown spots. The door didn't close, so we had to move to another room. This made the receptionist at that time quite upset for she had claimed there were no other rooms. Like an hour later, we did get another room for our Valentine's night, but the bathroom there was so incredibly small that we could barely enter it, the toilet seat was so tiny that one could hardly sit on it and the shower was build in such a way that one could hardly get in, out or stay in it -let alone use it-. The bed was painful to fall asleep in, at night there were constant drillings and unpleasant neighbours smashing things against the wall. We could not call to complain about it, for the phone was not working and there was no modern circuit in the walls to load our phones, tablets or other electronic devices. Right in front of the hotel -with unfortunately no direct view on the Eiffel tower as is presented on their website- at 3AM at night, a guy was being mugged, beaten up and left for dead. We barely slept a wink that night.
The location was perfect, right next to the Eiffel tower. There was sometimes a plate with free breakfast biscuits in the hallway, which is nice. The staff attempted to make it appear they were caring for our well-being.

United StatesThe rooms are not good. They are old with stains everywhere and damaged furniture. The walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbors going at it all night. The hotel is very old and not kept well. The radiator knob was broken in the bathroom so couldn’t control the heat. The rooms have janky door knobs you can hardly operate the locks. You leave your key with them whenever you leave the hotel. The room was tiny even by Euro standards. There are no outlets near the bed. Two outlets are by the tv. For the price you can stay in a far better location and higher quality hotel. This hotel is 1 or 2 star. Not three. I asked to leave at about 10pm the first night. Told them we are cancelling the next two nights. Desk clerk said he was new and I should talk to the manager in the morning. I did but she refused to cancel my second night even I notified them at 10 the night before and was out of the room by 8am. Don’t stay here. You can do better.
Not much to like here. Staff was unorganized and difficult. Location was close to Eiffel Tower.

AustraliaThis is a catfish of the hotel world - Photos online did not look anything like the actual rooms. Rooms are in desperate need of a makeover. Carpets stained, curtains that don’t actually cover the window, a bed that has clearly been used for far too long as there are depressions in the mattress where you lie that made sleeping extremely uncomfortable, yellow stained flooring in the bathroom, paint peeling everywhere, I could continue for hours on the defects and overall ‘grossness’ of this hotel. Hotel staff demand you hand your key back every time you leave the hotel, even if only leaving for a few minutes - No safe or any security within the room for personal belongings so handing the room key back is difficult to understand. The key sits in an open shelf behind the check-in desk that is supposed to be attended 24/7 - on three occasion’s on a single day, we entered the hotel and no one was behind the desk and we very easily could have walked behind and grabbed any key. They also dont ask for ID when you claim your key, we were mistakenly given a different room key because they assumed what room we were in. Serious security risk for belongings.
