Musty smell. Minimal rooms. There are better location in town where you don’t hear roads from both sides or fellow travellers thru the thin walls.

Everything was good except it was very cold in the rooms.

The hosts, Lydie and Christoph were so helpful and kind. It was situated close to everything in town. Breakfast was very good.

1) I was informed by a message from the property just prior to my arrival , that my reservation did not include sheets on the bed or towels , but I could get them at an additional charge . 2) I was charged 7 Euros for breakfast ( bread , crossiant , hot chocolate, OJ ,Apple ) 3) Had trouble using the shower - kept turning off every 30 seconds

It was just outside of the city wall of St Jean Pied de Port ( a short walk ) . It had plenty of other boarders spending the night there . I did reserve a private room ( originally for two ) .

There was an old (read smelly) leak in the bathroom, only one outlet for charging in a 4 person dorm which was not well lit. A general griminess in the dorm and bathroom. Turned out it was the highest priced albergue for the entire Camino and unfortunately the worst.

The hospilatara was responsive to communication and offered (but didn't) provide pickup from the train station. There was a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room space.

The space was dark. The beds springs squeaked with every movement. We had to pay extra for towels. Protective covers on the vinyl mattresses were not available.

Not very much. It was a place to sleep. We paid similar prices along the Camino for so much more....like sheets, towels, private bath, ...

It was on a very noisy street. Cars were racing up the street, people were loud outside until early morning. The rooms were basic. Stayed only one night then moved to a better Gite.

Washrooms were dirty, bedroom was large but bed was uncomfortable.

Left the property… could NOT sleep there. Was not reimbursed money … surprised Booking.com has this as an option.

The Lack of respect for a facility that makes enough money to respect tourism. ABSOLUTELY NO REGARD FOR TRAVELERS THAT SPEND THEIR HARD EARN MONEY AND THE HOTEL CAN EVEN FIX A HOLE T THE ENTRY OR HAVE TOILET PAPER OR A FRESH COAT OF PAINT.... AT LEAST MAKE AN EFFORT AND BE PROUD OF YOUR BUDING3, I COULS NEVER HOST ANYONE WOTH THAT KIND OF LACK OF CARE FOR MY HOME

Staff were harried and terribly rushed. They were rude. They said "no" to everything eg can I pay with plastic card can I have butter, can you put soap in the toilet. It took over an hour to get the attention of the waitress to ask her to take my lunch order.

Fabulous setting and the facilities are fairly clean. Not perfect but they could be worse.

The house has character but it is very run down. There was a strange “rule” that we had to gather at 7pm to listen to breakfast instructions for the following day…only to be told there would be no breakfast. This could have been shared via WhatsApp.

I have stayed at this Gite a number of times before. The bunk beds are fine. I really like that it has got a nice communal lounge area with a big table that I use to do work on my laptop. The kitchen is equipped and I was able to make tea at night. The breakfast in the morning was special, fresh and delicious.
