Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilIf you don't have a car, it's not so convenient location, but it definitely worth to rent a car to stay there and tour around Alsace.
This is a complete, comfortable and convenient accommodation to make you feel at home while you are in Alsace. Convenient location just a few meters from the train station and between 15 min to 1h by car from several interesting cities, such as Colmar, Strasbourg and other pretty small villages. The apartment has been completely renovated, has an excellent fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer and an excellent shower with ideal pressure and temperature. For longer stays, there is plenty of storage space. The human factor is undoubtedly the highlight of the accommodation. The hosts are helpful, respond quickly and spare no effort to make our stay comfortable. We spent Christmas in the apartment and were welcomed with Xmas decoration with a Xmas tree, cookies, chocolates and lots of affection! We felt welcomed, well settled, comfortable and with a feeling of being at home at the end of the day.

United KingdomIt was not at all clear on the booking.com website that linen was not provided.
Thé accommodation was excellent and the gîte was well placed to explore the picturesque nearby villages. Though close to the rail way the disturbance was minimal when the windows were closed.

CanadaNothing.
We loved this place and would return in a flash. Good WIFI, Kitchen, Shower a Big TV with Netflix and a big couch to sit on. It was in a nice little village 6 minutes from Riquewihr. The owner did a nice job of putting this Gite together they should be proud. When we come back to this area this is where we would stay again. Thank you.

PortugalNothing. Everything was perfect.
An exceptionally well designed and thought through apartment. An excellent location in an interesting town, half a step away from the tourist mayhem. The host is incredible and very kind. Ostheim has a bakery to die for. There are a couple of places in town that are good for food and a good bar. The wider area is a wonderful assault on the senses. The wine and geography are both beyond most people's wildest expectations. The quilt festival is within easy reach and comfortably deserves its global reputation.

IsraelWe visited Alsace for 4 days as part of a month and a half trip, in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France. Our stay in the apartment was pleasant, a renovated apartment, with easy access to parking. But there were a few small things that clouded the stay: 1. The area seems unsafe, especially in the evening. 2. In the apartment we cut back on small things, like for example, a kitchen cloth, which everywhere we got a new one, here we got a used one (perhaps clean, but how much does a new one cost, really). bath towels. They wanted us to settle for the same 2 large towels for 4 days, which is unreasonable. In the end, they did a favor and brought another 2. They also checked us to see if we turned off all the lights in the apartment when we left (even though most of the time we were not in the apartment, so in practice we saved them electricity, what would happen if we sat in the apartment for a few days because of rain, would they demand that we go out to save? ? And what's really annoying, and embarrassing. We were only given one roll of toilet paper. We didn't think to worry about it, since all the apartments we stayed in provided maybe 5 spare rolls. When the roll ran out, we asked the landlord, maybe they put a spare somewhere. The landlords began to speak Again, the tenant should take care of this and buy. How is a tenant supposed to know that it is necessary to buy, and it is stupid to buy a package for one more roll. Luckily, we took a roll of paper from former another apartment from the trip and we were saved. Because of this austerity, we do not recommend visiting this apartment.
New apartment Easy access from parking to the apartment.
