We stayed at this charming, spacious French cottage and had a wonderful experience. The cottage has an old-world charm that made it feel cozy and welcoming. Run by a lovely couple, the hosts were kind and took great care of all the guests, even though they spoke only a little English. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, which offered plenty of hiking trails and outdoor activities. The private bathroom was spotless, with both a bathtub and a shower—bigger than some London bedrooms! The aroma of dinner was irresistible, but be sure to book in advance for a chance to enjoy it. Overall, a delightful stay in a beautiful setting.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The hosts were friendly, helpful and solucitous of our needs. I was travelling with my elderly parents who found navigating the stairs and uneven floorboards a challenge. Having said that, we all agreed that the building was delightful, with its exposed beams, large rooms and period furniture. The beds were really comfy (one of the house cats seemed to agree!), the bathroom spacious and spotlessly clean. The provenance of every item on the set menu was explained by our hosts and we enjoyed our meal in the company of another guest at a long dining table. It was a fabulous experience.

We were happy with everything.

Lovely welcoming hosts. Very traditional home in a stunning area with a beautiful spot to relax outside. No Wifi or TV means you really do chill out. Highly recommend having dinner here, it was awesome. Parking on site. We weren't travelling with towels but the host can supply them for a small charge.

My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious, modern, and had separate bath and shower. Both rooms were spotlessly clean. I stayed in for the evening meal, which was simple, but great tasting, and cooked using local fresh ingredients. Breakfast was also good. The convent has nice outdoor areas to mix with others or spend time by yourself. Definately recommended.

The hosts have made sure every traveler is well treated. I recommend having the diner there with Mylène’s as the cook. The breakfast is very generous. you can relax in the spacious garden and you can also park your car or motorbike inside the courtyard.
