The pool area was a little tired but a new spa and pool area is planned, I believe.

The hostellerie exceeded my expectations mostly because the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Patrice for being so kind and helpful with sorting an impromptu meal for teenagers. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The bistrot meal was superb.

Some staff members challenged you and treated you as if you were trespassing! We were questioned one noght after spending 5 nights by a member of staff “ what are bussiness was” very humiliating Rooms poorly ventilated, housekeeping done as late as 4 pm. Some areas not as clean, dusty in some places Menu options limited. Not enough variety, however the food was mostly excellent, the choices were just limited. Good walking routes and bikes for use Spa very good and service very well delivered

The hotel was mostly fine (small room, of course there is no roof and no light on the balcony), but the fact that you have to book an expensive meal every day in a restaurant, which has the same menu every day, is extremely poor.

It was a shame that the gastro restaurant was not open during our visit.

Room was great with sea and lighthouse views, restaurant menu was diverse and food was well prepared. I love this part of France...it reminds me of Cornwall in the UK only less traffic! Underground parking was very useful for us.

My partner and I were very happy with all of it. There was a small problem in the bathroom as the sink unit was a bit wobbley

Our room and bed were very comfortable, we has a nice outlook on to the street and bridge in Josselin - this was full of flowers and looked lovely. The restaurant was comfortable and the food the first night (sea bass) was delicious, and the bar was also very good. The staff were very polite and helpful too. Josselin is a lovely, interesting town.

Gourmet restaurant, more style than substance. Room fixtures and furnishings could be upgraded Teardrop chairs on the floor.

We Love our time in this hotel :) Thanks to the bar man to do an amazing cocktail and the jazz music was great! We love the swimming pool and the jacuzzi! We had enjoy a lot our time in this place!

The swimming pool was closed for maintenance (a broken filter) for most of our stay and only re-opened the morning we left.

The location is lovely and the food at the gastronomic restaurant was excellent. The staff were helpful throughout our stay - especially Patrick in the bar!

The chef was trying to provide ‘fine dining’ but would have preferred a less fancy menu. Breakfast was perfect.

Helpful staff. We loved our room with a balcony and sea view. The rest of our party asked for the lighthouse view but that’s also overlooking the road (not busy). There are cliff top walks and breathtaking views. Great for painters like me.

Breakfast was the same every day, you can choose 1 type of cheese the whole week. Fresh juice was with small dead flies. If you would like to use sauna, you have to accept the fact, that sauna is located almost on the street. You can see tourist walking nearby as well as they can see you. Personal at the reception was cold like a fish.

The rooms are tired and really need some updating. The pool area is in need of some redecorating and work.

Location is wonderful and quiet. Not a place for those who are seeking a bit of action.

Not well maintained…smell in the corridors, mould on the ceiling and in the grout of the shower. Housekeeping not very efficient…failed to replace towels taken for laundering and soap in soap dish etc
