Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBreakfast was underwhelming - not much variety. Standard rooms are a bit small and the furniture is a bit flimsy.

United StatesThere were some mobility concerns: 1. Although there are elevators there were a number of steps to get to them in the lobby. The staff helped us with our bags on the way out, but they cannot see you on the way in so call out if you need help. 2. Our room had a raised platform tub/shower(more than foot higher than the floor), and extremely difficult to get in safely as there were no handrails, and a half non-moveable shower door that blocked you to some extent. Asked to be moved, which was honored There do seem to be a few rooms with a walk in shower, but most were raised. We did finally find one but we checked maybe 10 rooms to do so. I would not have been able to do this in-season, so if you need a walk in make sure to specify in your reservation. 3. There were steps on a single floor as well. I think the hotel was originally multiple buildings. I believe this is why they had two elevators. Ask for a straight line if needed, and which elevator to use for your room to avoid steps.
Excellent choice if you expect to do any excursions by train as only about 250 meters (0.1 miles) from the train station, and yet a flat 600m walk to the Palais des Papes. Older style hotel but well decorated. Beds were reasonably comfortable and the rooms clean but smallish with a single desk-like chair. Had 2 separate small elevators. Very nice hot/cold breakfast - not much variety day to day but a wide choice of items so well worth the extra charge. Staff very nice and helpful even with my lack of french. Hotel on the main street just inside the walls, with much better restaurants than further into the center. Would reserve again.

United StatesRooms could do with a few more plugs, but this is a historic property that has been well maintained and added to ambience of staying in Avignon.
Great location just inside the city walls and along the Main Street into the historic city. But also less than 10 minute walk to train station and bus station.

SingaporeThere is no ramp at the entrance and within the hotel, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. A fleet of stair before the entrance and after the entrance before the front desk, and stairs before you can access your lift. Depends on the floor/room, you still have a few stairs before you reach your room, out from the lift. Good exercise.
The room comes with a large toilet and a heater-bars that we can warm our clothings and towel. The Hotel is a short walk (<10min) from Avignon bus/train station, along the central street. It is near the edge of the old town so you can do your walk around of the town. Breakfast lots of choice of bread and cake, otherwise is standard.
