Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe fire alarm went off twice during the night requiring all residents to vacate the building. At no point was there any staff present to direct residents to the nearest exit, out the building or to a central meeting point, and no communication to inform us when it was safe to return to our rooms. We were totally left to fend for ourselves and work out what, if anything was happening.
Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. I especially liked the pool and poolside bar. Centrally located and within a 5 minute walk from the main square with lots of bars, restaurants and shops

United KingdomBar and restaurant was a little expensive but plenty of places within 10 minutes walk.
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Pool was a great respite from the heat although was very busy and not many sunbeds but plenty of seating. Had 2 decent sized rooms for 3 of us with an adjoining door so plenty of space.

BrazilThe choice of food at breakfast. Fruit was always the same thing, tired looking pineapple, watermelon and melon. Eggs were undercooked and runny. Not a good breakfast selection compared to other Crowne Plaza Hotels elsewhere. Also during a rainy evening I was told the dinner service was very understaffed and it would be better to eat outside the hotel. Which I did. Catering needs definite improvement.
Excellent location Very close to the centre. On-site parking. Staff were really lovely and efficient. Reception staff always smiling and helpful. Well done to them all. Room and shower very comfortable.

BelgiumThe swimming pool is spacious, but with only +- 10 chairs next to it, you can never be sure to have one. Then the "claiming game" begins and you need to be ready to dash to a chair once someone leaves. This ruins the vacation feeling a little bit and it created a "competitive" environment as well. I would conclude with: too many guests for such a limited amount of chairs next to the pool.
The hotel is situated outside of the city centre, but still within a 5m walk to the Place de la Comédie. That's just amazing, you escape the noise and can rest in an environment without too much disturbance. The breakfast is amazing, good variety, fresh and delicious products, both at 7am and 9am so no need to rush. The rooms are spacious, well-cleaned and well-equiped.

United KingdomProblem with room on arrival. Had to be placed in a room with a broken TV, on the last night the Air Con stopped working until the morning. Disappointed to find out Indoor Restaurant and outside bar area (where swimming pool is) shut on first night stay, due to a private function.
Hotel decor and facilities are very nice and it is a perfect location as a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Staff were very pleasant. Good choices for breakfast. Parking was available in a secure location but was 17 euros a night.

SpainIt was a little bit tricky to get to the hotel by car. Maybe for locals it would be easier, but then again the local don't usually need hotels. A navigator would help though.

We stayed here for one night before travelling home. It was a short walk into town and had everything we needed. All the staff were kind, warm and very helpful. Nice bar area. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough for a swim but we found the pool area and it looked very nice. There is parking on site (chargeable). Would stay again and would recommend.
