United KingdomHolding a deposit, which is first time a hotel ask me for it after staying in over 50 of them in my travels, while using the explanation that 90% of them doing it, which sounds weird when I never ever been asked for one before, even on other Ibis budget ones. Which you are force to pay or look for something else, not something that any tired traveler wants to do in the afternoon he just arrived. It is on their info, but all the way at the bottom as the last thing after a long boring bla bla bla, that usually nobody reads since is burried under standard hotel rules we all know. Extremely small room even for an Ibis budget, barely anyspace around the bed, and accessing the table and sitting on the chair, is an agility chalenge. Bad internal sound proofing as I could hear the people next door having a conversation quite clearly. Not informing me during my checking in that the main door will be closed after a certain time and entrance will be through their restaurant instead,

The air conditioning is excellent. The rooms are clean and everything works. Also a good price for the location, and with plenty of good parking nearby.

SwedenIf the check in can be made beginning with 2pm ( not earlier than this hour) the check out should be made no later than 11am. In the day of leaving, at 10:30am had the cleaning lady knocking the door and rolling her eyes when I opened the door and saw me in pijama. 10 min later another cleaning personnel knocked the door asking when I leave the room.

United KingdomThe aircon unit was quite loud, but did the job to cool the room down and we turned it off to go to sleep.
We stopped here for one night as part of a longer road trip, the room was exactly what we expected. Compact but very comfortable and clean. Our room overlooked the river, beyond the busy road. We were on the 5th floor and with the double opening window didnt get any traffic noise from below. There is a secure underground carpark approximately 5 minutes away (walking), which was quite reasonable for an overnight stay. There was also a really good choice of restaurants on Uber Eats, perfect after a day on the road.

Portugalthe location, the second Arrondissement is a bit sketchy but likely nothing will happen to you. the room is a bit small so pack lightly. sometimes other people can be heard.
Loved the stay there, the staff are friendly had a lovely view of the Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière, the breakfast option are limited but quite good. also bending machines.
