Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe bathroom was ridiculously small. You had to go into the bedroom to dry yourself. In six weeks of travelling through Europe the food & restaurant were the worst we had. The staff were also very indifferent. We won’t be rushing back.
The location and the metro is across the road & nearby bistros.

United KingdomI purchased this room due to the advertisement as you see on top that is what I thought that I had booked. Upon getting there, we got room 523, which was a hot view of the building, and for some reason, I had allergy reactions in there. I was getting ill then transferred to room 150, which again the view was on the street looking at the buildings across, noisy room. Just wanted to go home, really... False advertisement. I did ask for the room of the view of the Effiel Tower as booked, but No! I and my child did not get that. We went there to celebrate my child's birthday....I also mentioned it to the hotel and still No! We did not get the room we had thought we had booked.... :-(
The canteen manager and the canteen staff made sure that my child got a chocolate cake to celebrate his birthday. That was so so kind and much appreciated.

United KingdomI thought I had paid for breakfast to be included in my booking, but it turns out I had not which was a little confusing. We were able to pay for breakfast on the day though and it was wonderful, with a large selection of items to choose from. The bathroom was also small and an odd shape, and I was worried id feel claustrophobic in the shower but the water pressure of the actual shower was so good that I wasn’t bothered about the size of the bathroom, though if you are plus-sized or in a wheelchair this is something to keep in mind of as the toilet was right up against a wall so you had to sit on it at a slight angle, and the shower is also small and angled too. Despite this, it was very clean and I appreciated the daily replacement of bath towels.
Fantastic location, just across the road from a metro stop (I would highly recommend buying a metro pass if you plan to explore the city- they’re fantastic value!) which I used multiple times daily with ease, despite not being able to speak French. The city is also very walkable, and I felt very safe walking to and from the Eiffel Tower from the hotel- jt was roughly a 15 minute walk each way. There are supermarkets nearby and fantastic restaurants right on the doorstep of the hotel, with amazing service and lovely food for reasonable prices. The hotel itself is also very easy to get to by both public transport and Uber/Taxi, and there are lifts in the hotel which make it suitable for people who have accessibility needs. The staff at the hotel are lovely, and speak good English. The receptionist allowed us to check in early free of charge due to it being our anniversary, and he put us on a quieter floor as you could see the Eiffel Tower from the lobby (you can also pay extra for an Eiffel Tower view, I believe this was an extra €25 a night) which was a really kind gesture and it made our trip. He also gave us a map and gave us his personal recommendations of places to visit which was wonderful, and I felt really welcomed as a guest. The staff also allowed me to print something off which was very kind of them, I just had to send them an email with the document and it was printed off for me while speaking to them at reception. We had no issues with noise etc, and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was comfortable, clean, modern and has vending machines in the downstairs lobby with products ranging anywhere from water to plasters and first aid kits, so it is possible to get whatever essentials you need at any hour. The WiFi was also very good, and allowed for streaming on my laptop too, and the general cleanliness of the hotel was to a high standard. I would 100% stay here again.

United StatesStaff told me a taxi would be around 70€, and I tried to confirm this with staff before leaving and the taxi still charged us 90€. While obvi the taxis are known for extorting, it felt like the hotel was in on it. The room was cramped with barely any room to turn in the shower. Only “all in 1” shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Two flat pillows. The air conditioner didn’t work - they let me try 3 additional rooms and they were all not working. We had to open the window and it was so noisy outside, although quiet with the window closed.
Staff was helpful in answering questions. It was right next to the Cambronne station which made getting around the city a breeze, about 20-25 minutes to any major destination. Right next to multiple kebab places for late night eats, a patisserie for coffee and pastries, and multiple restaurants that were reasonably priced (ie, less expensive than the restaurants closer to the Eiffel Tower).

Breakfast was limited and average. The staff was very friendly, attentive and corteous. Close proximity to a Metro Station and taxis is convenient for getting around.

United KingdomVery very tiny room and bathroom especially. Not enough space for clothes or for putting our things down. Terribly noisy during the nights, paper thin walls, big space under the door, we heard all our neighbours slamming the doors all the time, early morning, at night... If you are planning to stay for a week and would like to have a good rest after a long day exploring the city DON'T stay here. I asked for a room on the upper levels in my booking and they gave me a first floor room close to the stairs that everyone was using all the time with a banging door, so basically the worst room on that floor. Very disappointed about it. I would definitely go elsewhere next time.
Very good location, close to metros, nice breakfast (however a bit boring after the 6th day...) The bed was okay, some shops and many restaurants around what we loved.

FranceBuffet stations busy and not yet peak season. Don’t like the scrambled eggs or the coffee from the machine. This is my third stay at this hotel. First time, small, dark room at back of hotel; second time, spacious more modern room looking onto main street which is noisy. This time I requested a quiet room in writing and was allocated a smaller room looking onto an inner courtyard, which needed a re-vamp. The shower doors were not properly sealed so leaked. After notifying Reception, a technician did appear quickly and made the necessary repair. My main complaints at this hotel: - the better rooms appear to be at the front of the hotel and are noisy - it is boiling in the rooms during the night and the temperature can’t be controlled. I hate to think what the daytime temperature is during summer time

New ZealandWe stayed at the ibis for 5 nights, on the second night the nightmare started, my husband and I were bitten by bed bugs, this situation ruined my trip, we asked for our money back and they didn't care, they just took our clothes to the laundry and changed our rooms and that's it! If you are staying at this hotel, check the beds and pillows very carefully, to avoid this unfortunate event.
