Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Nothing like the Ibis in Australia, this was a fantastic motel, about 15 min walk to the tower, very well appointed room and motel.

LithuaniaThere were a lot of people in the breakfast eating area, it would be very crowded every morning, no matter what time it was. Also very loud noise coming from the street at night, so it was hard to fall asleep. Our window was located to the street. There was a weird smell in the first floor, couldn't figure out what that was, luckily there was no smell in our floor and in our room. There was Chromecast on the TV but it didn't work unfortunately.
The location is as good as it can get, you can reach all of the main Paris tourist objects by foot in 20 minutes. The breakfast was pretty good too, a lot to choose from. The room was clean, loved the bed, it was very comfortable. We booked the room 6 months prior to our stay, so it was about 30% cheaper than it would've been right now. The price we paid was definitely worth it.

United KingdomThink the lockers for luggage is a money making scheme so won’t let you check in early. We ended up paying twice as we didn’t know how it worked.
Good location for restaurants and the metro.

CanadaIt was exactly what you expect with IBIS. I read some negative comments about shower and bathroom size, but we found it to be small but completely functional. I’m over 6 feet and just under 200 pounds and the shower was just fine.
Great location, good breakfast, friendly staff and Ibis quality rooms. Small but comfortable and spotless.

United KingdomCant say there was anything to complain about.
Stayed in one of the single rooms the bed was slightly bigger than a single bed had a view of the eiffel tower from my window and it had a full sized shower compared to my freinds double room which the bathroom was very tight to get around in. The air conditioning worked perfectly but a little noisy so turned it off at night. Never had breakfast so cant comment on food as there were plenty places to go for breakfast near by also metro was round the corner for exploring paris.

HungarySome guests need to learn how to behave especially by not deciding to rearrange the furniture after 10 pm or setting their children free on the corridors.
The location is great, there is a metro stop not one minute from the hotel. Bakery, shops are close too. Eiffel tower is around ten minutes by foot. The street is very calm. Breakfast was fulfilling. Dinner can be eaten there too. The room is well equipped. The staff is very helpful and kind. The whole area is very quiet but still very close to city centre.

New ZealandThe First Lady that attempted to check us in, said there were issues with the internet and told us to sit down while she sorted our check in. She then disappeared for over twenty minutes without coming back to us. Subsequently new people walked into the hotel and were then served by a new staff member who turned up to the counter so we then had to wait in the line for another ten minutes before we finally got checked in. The service of the first staff member was completely unacceptable.
The second person who checked us in was very helpful and apologised for the poor behaviour of the other staff member.
