Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Twin beds pushed together in ‘standard double’ . Not hotels fault but the morons who came in drunk shouting at 4am and kept going for two hours .
Breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect and check in good.

Garage not available at my arrival. Several IBIS hotels in the town have similare name. Easy to make mistake.
Quiet area but close to shops and restourant. Good breackfast and polite personnell.

The A/C was a bit noisy and the instruction not to change the settings had to be disobeyed to get the room down to a comfortable temperature. I found by minimising the fan speed, and tapping the grill, I was able to reduce the noise somewhat. The double bed made of two single mattresses was just good enough but being a bit old there was a significant ridge in the middle of the bed. Its probably time to swap out the mattresses.
The location is great, a short walk to stops for the two major tram lines, or easy strolling to the old town. The breakfast was relatively simple but fully adequate for a simple breakfast person like me.

The breakfast was poor and nearly the same every day. The hotel room was out of date. Pretty basic conditions and considering the location and supportive/friendly staff it was worth it.
The hotel has a wonderful location close to the promenade, port, city centre and public transport. The staff were friendly and supportive all the time.

Room was clean and airy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is great - adjacent to many restaurants and cafes, and a close to Old Town and the seashore. Breakfast was with fresh orange which I love the most, and opened till 11am :D.

Breakfast served until 11.00 but fresh oranges for juice ran out at 10.00am. Some parts of hotel looking a bit shabby now
We've stayed here three times now as we like the area, handy for Nice Port and into centre. Nice room with a street view.

Room was small but comfortable enough. The in-room facilities were insufficient. There was no electric kettle so we had to buy one ourselves. There was only toilet paper and liquid soap as the toiletries. There was a safe in the room but a lock piece was missing. I guess we had to get it from the reception. Overall I believe these are the standards for a 3 star hotel.
Location was very good. Hotel is very close to old Nice, public transportation and supermarkets. Breakfast was not fantastic but ok.

Shower cabin door did note closed well so water was leaking on the bathroom floor.
Very well located, next to the old town, close to the port, close to the main tourist attractions. Underground parking but not recommended for big SUV’s. Breakfast was acceptable, not a big variety. Orange juice fresh was excellent. Overall a good choice for 1-2 nights stay.
