The hotel accepts pets and unfortunately the room smelled of dog. The reception was not able to change our room (not all rooms had been cleaned because of the 1st January holiday) and offered a air freshener as the only solution. The room had a big window that could not open and a door that could open but the wind and rain made it difficult to keep it open.

We have stayed once before with our 2 dogs and again we stayed with our two medium sized dogs , the room was tiny I would have thought that the hotel would have recommended a different room as we said we had 2 dogs with us and of course we would have paid more

Everything was great except on check in the man on reception visibly pulled a face and made a loud sigh of annoyance when we asked for a second room key. It really was like something Basil Fawlty would do. To be honest it was not in keeping with the rest of the staff who were very courteous and helpful. No parking but we knew that before booking and there is parking around the town.

Location is great. Hotel is nice and clean. 2 lifts good restaurant. We ate 3 times in restaurant and was excellent each time as was the service. Breakfast was ok, good selection but a little crowded.

Excellent location on beachfront. Clean and a very comfortable bed. As only required a stopover for one night the small single room with double bed and compact bathroom was perfect for what I required and great value for money- especially as this was high season. Would definitely stay again, but if staying longer would book a sea view with balcony as they looked great.

The standard room is a very small room. You can barely fit your cases in around you. Having said that, it is clean and a fan was provided.

Good location, easy to find local car parks with very reasonable rates.

There was a very strong sewer gas smell in the bathroom which was just overwhelming.

Really nice hotel right on the beach. Great updated room and comfy bed. I'd have given this an 8 or 9 if it hadn't been for the sewer gas in the bathroom.

When booking I decided to upgrade from standard room to comfort room. Only two of us staying but room was very small. Only one cupboard to hang clothes, no draws to put folded clothes in and no room for large case.

Slight rise between main room and hall a little disconcerting, particularly when visiting the bathroom during the night. We dined in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our starters but my husband's mussels as a main course were disappointing. Couldn't fault quantity, but they were dry and overcooked- possibly the result of it being close to the end of service on Sunday of a very busy weekend. My lamb shank was also rather bland.

Huge room with balcony overlooking sea. Inside, super comfortable plush velvet sofa and chair also with sea views. Excellent bathroom, with bath and separate enormous shower. Super king bed, good linen. Secure parking at Euro 15 is well worth it.

Room was very small for top price tariff! Arrived for dinner to find coach party was using whole of restaurant! No warning and then very difficult to find satisfactory alternative on a cold night! Avoid rooms ending in 03 or 05 as the person next door can see onto your balcony!

Sea view was worth the extra! Location is perfect for walking or visiting POI. Great bar on beach to relax in evening opposite hotel.

I had to make the bed myself. The sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases were all laid out for me, but it was left for me to put them on myself. I've never experienced that in a hotel before!

The hotel is in a great location, right along the beach front, near lots of bars and restaurants. My room had a kitchenette with a good selection of pots, cutlery and crockery.

Bathtub was missing his front panel and all technical stuff was visible.

The staff is very kind and willing to help and the sea view is really great. The global decoration of the hotel is frequently adapted. Our room was also decorated under the theme of Valentine's feast.

The first room was a bit squished , also “ courtyard” view was more like back alley or parking.. but the second night much better

The room was for 4 people but one bed was a pull out bed which was not really appropriate. On previous stays I had the same 4 person studio apartment and it had proper beds and a partition for adults in double bed.

Great for families on a budget. Great location.
