Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great little stop over while travelling through France. Clean spacious room with balcony. Lovely shower. A super restaurant next door to eat at and in the morning a good breakfast with plenty of choices to eat. Highly recommended.

Great place for a night stop. The hotel is easily accessed from the highway and has free parking on-site. Very clean and very good value. There is a good restaurant just next door and an amazingly good boulangerie just in front.

It was good, no complaints
Very well positioned for coming off and on the A10 and very easy to find where all the low budget hotels can be found in Saintes. Breakfast was plentiful and good value for money. Staff were very helpful and speak English if you need it.

Late check in options were a little confusing. No tea or coffee facilities in room.

About 39 minute walk into Saintes but there are restaurants close by (did not try) and a good boulangerie (did use)

Close to the motorway, but tucked away so nice and quiet. Saintes is worth a look, but the hotel is on the outskirts, so you'd need a car. We ate in town, but there is a restaurant next door to the hotel, and there's a Super U hypermarket with a cafe just down the road

A little non chain hotel just off the motorway. We just needed somewhere to break the drive from the Med to St Malo. This hotel was much nicer than anticipated. Lovely comfy rooms (we had the ones with a terrace). Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good with home made cakes, cheese, cold meat etc. There is a restaurant next door that was OK too. Much nicer than the usual chain hotels off the motorway. If you need somewhere for a night to break your drive I highly recommend this hotel.

My room had a weird smell, sort of a mixture between tabacco smoke and perfume. The other room was fine though. It was slighly cold in the room. Tv only had French channels.
The front desk lady was super nice. Parking was good.

It would have been very nice to have a kettle in the room with tea and coffee facilities
It was very easy to get into the centre of Saintes, and I was told where I could get a breakfast nearby.

Unfortunately it is too far to walk to town. All restaurants around the hotel close early and will not just serve you a night cap. No bars near the locality

Everything a little bit outdated, but therefore you get a good price and clean room.
Simpel hotel close to highway. Everything little bit outdated, but room and bathroom clean. The room had airconditioning and it had no noise and you can make it fully dark. I slept very well. According to French customs, the breakfast was excellent. There is a restaurant nearby as well. You can park on a parkinglot that belongs to the hotel. Staff was very friendly.

For the price nothing. But wall sockets incorporating usb charge points would be a great addition
Plenty of choice for breakfast, tasty fresh bread,, coffee machine or percolated. Definitely French as opposed to English breakfast (nothing fried and to quote reception “no scrambled”. Overall, convenient, clean, comfortable and quiet.

We were a little confused at exiting the car park onto the main road - a little hint before we left would have been helpful.
Staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed with a smile and provided with details of the excellent bakery which was accessed via a shortcut. We took advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed a delicious cake with hot chocolate whilst sitting on their terrace. Breakfast was really enjoyable with homemade pancakes and French toast, the hosts willingly shared recipes with us.
