Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

I think it’s the first hotel I saw not clean. There was dirt in the wall in our room and overall, I found it lacking. Also, the toilet handle was broken. It was all fine for us as we were just there a few hours while transitioning from BCN to the UK, but I probably wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay

I'm sure I booked twin rooms but booking said doubles and when I queried was told I'd booked doubles. I expect this may have been confusion on booking website not hotel.
Ease location and morning staff were amazing as was breakfast

Bed was a little hard and no aircon so room did get very hot.
Location. And good breakfast. And staff member’s knowledge of best place to eat was spot on.

The triple room was not the most spacious with the 3rd bed, with only a small gap from the bathroom door. It made it difficult to get to the bathroom in the light even harder in the dark, not to bump into the bed or wake up the sleeping child with the light going on. Also only one pillow each could have had more in the wardrobe to get with out asking.
Good location for the travel home with only an 1.30 hour drive to the port so we can get an early ferry home. The brackfast was good and the communal area bright and clean so easy for us have a little picnic for a late lunch before dinner. Beds were comfortable.

The toilet mechanism didn’t work properly, so we had to flush it three or four times each time. There were not enough cups for washing our teeth. In general the bathroom was too old and certainly needs an update. Even for a budget hotel.
The staff was very helpful, location is quiet and they gave us a quiet room in the corner, nice for sleeping well with kids. Free cold/warm water in the hall is nice as well.

Breakfast was a little bland with no cooked items.
The hotel was very helpful in finding a room to lock away our bikes. Staff were very helpful generally and helped show us round the hotel and it's amenities. Good parking outside with plenty of space around.

Few spiders under the ceiling. 😶
Super friendly and welcoming staff. Arrived after 21hr and still got food at the premise. Did not have breakfast but it looks like buffett style. The matress was firm but very comfy. Plenty of secured parking . Close to the motorway and fuel station, which was perfect for an overnight stay off the motorway.

No restaurant or bar - but manager helpfully directed us to a good brasserie 10 minutes walk away. Overall decor showing its age - could do with a refresh.
Very helpful staff. Safe and secure parking. Good breakfast.

Sadly the one night we stayed in the hotel the neighbours were having arguments / party / fights. From 22:00- 04:00 people were shouting and screaming in the hallway and the sound isolation was poor so it was very loud which ended up with nearly sleepless night.
Super easy access to the highway. Wat parking and checking in.
