Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe room was hot, we opened the window and got 6 mosquitos ! First night was really not ok. Second night was better as we open the window but it got cold enough so the mosquitos did not entered. I ask reception about the heat in the room they explained they cannot help with it. Breakfast was nice and staff helpful but not real option for vegetarian or vegan diet nor gluten free. Children pay as much as adult that is a bit weird.
The location is great. Bed are comfortable and room was clean. Window really cut the noise from the street.

United StatesI want to preface this by saying I have never canceled my stay at a hotel before in my life. We booked a room with air conditioning, and there was no functioning air conditioner, so we switched our room and yet again there was no air conditioning. The management continue to insist that it was just because it was so hot outside and that they had the air conditioning checked. They did not want to hear that it wasn’t working and continue to repeat the same thing. The rooms are smaller than they appear online very tight. There were also cleaning and maintenance materials in the hall. The management refused to return our money we left the hotel within a half an hour of arriving. We were able to get another room at a hotel nearby with perfect air conditioning.

NorwayI went during the holiday season, it was a bit crowded and not well organized for the number of people. Since it is an old building you could hear everything. there was also a problem with the ventilation system. Honestly, what is more, essential for me to that let me put down the value of the hotel is that it is written that they have facilities for disabled guests, while it is only partially true because there are some steps at the entrance.
The staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable and the room was big enough and everything was clean.

CanadaAt over 25 degrees outside during the day, it being to noisy im the night to keep the windows open, the building’s air conditioning should have working. The heart made it impossible to get a good sleep. Getting a good sleep is critical to stay at a hotel.

United Statesit was 25C and the air conditioning did not work because “it’s only turned on in the summer.” I found another place after the front desk person told me she would only charge me for the 2 nights we had already stayed (even wrote down the total owed) when we went to leave she said she was sorry but must charge us for 3 nights since it was past checkout time. I told her we would only pay for 2 nights and she offered 2 and a half. I told her that I would not negotiate what we had agreed t I would only pay for upon (I only made a reservation to leave AFTER she had told me that I would pay for 2 nights) I had already contacted booking.com, and told her that I would wait to pay until it was resolved. she contacted the hotel that I move to and told them that I would leave without paying, but I had already paid them! she wrote me a very polite letter and said that she hoped I wouldn’t make he call the police. then she charged me for the 3 nights! to be resolved…

It was a well kept hotel, our room no. 11 was spacious, modern and with a nice view over the square. The sound proofing, double glazing was great when we had windows closed. We enjoyed having breakfast each day, it was continental with a wide choice on offer, items regularly topped up and my husband really enjoyed the coffee pods. Staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. We previously stayed at the Mercure Pont D Avignon by the bridge but we both preferred the Kyriad due to the above.
