Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel was in a great location to visit La Rochelle port. Great bars and restaurants. Approx 10 mins walk from hotel. Secure parking in the hotel basement.Rooms are very clean and quite spacious.

Nothing. Would stay there again.
Good location, bit hard to find on sat nav but not far from La Rochelle centre on foot, about 10 minutes. Nice secure underground car park. Due to a bad toilet leak we had to be relocated to a disabled facility room but this was fine and very comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Disco that went on until 1 in the morning
Friendly staff, secure parking. Clean and comfortable. Good selection at breakfast. Fine for the city centre if you don’t mind a walk

It is a bit distant from the centre of La Rochelle. The meal options are limited. The breakfast is good but lunch and dinner service is not available in the hotel. There are a number of restaurants and fast food outlets in the vicinity

Room rate expensive for what was on offer. Disappointed with breakfast - overpriced, both coffee machines not working, tablespoons not available until requested from staff, toaster not plugged in.
Room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, great shower, secure parking. Receptionist very helpful when booking in.

Tea and coffee facilities was listed in the advertisement for the property. I stayed with a friend of mine in a double room with twin beds. One tea and one coffee allowance was available on arrival. The following day there was nothing. I contacted a member of staff about this and they said it was only available for the first day! This matter was rectified when I brought it to their attention. Only one bath towel and one small towel was available for 2 people. I requested extra towels. This was rectified afterwards. Tiny area available for hanging clothes this was not sufficient for 2 people. I expected the housekeeping to be much better than that and felt it was below par. I would have allocated a higher score if the above was not lacking.
Good location and within walking distance of the port. Fantastic powerful shower. Bathroom was a good size and room was cleaned daily.

Even it is a chain hotel there were no facilities like shower cap or slippers. Internet was not working at the room. You have to use it at the lobby :(

The bed was very uncomfortable and hotel guests could be noisy and heard through the walls and ceiling at odd hours. Upon arrival the front desk agent was nice and accommodating, but that was the only one. The night attendant tried to ignore us and was very rude when we asked for an additional item needed for the room. The towels provided to dry off your body are very small. The location was farther from the areas we visited than it appeared on the map. I don't think I'd stay at this chain of hotel again. It's not completely bad, but it was definitely budget minded and I should have know because it was reflected in the price. So, with that in mind, you get what you pay for.
We were not sure what to expect from this chain hotel. The room was of an expected size and the A/C worked great!

Clean and comfortable, breakfast standard continental but good. Not a bad location, a fair walk to the harbour area where there were loads of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Nothing that I can think of.
Staff helped with booking a taxi for 6am on a Sunday. Location is excellent - well worth a repeat visit to explore the area. Very good Italian restaurant on corner of block. We were on a 1 night stay to catch the early morning Flixbus to St Malo, so would definitely like to go back to explore the surroundings.

No mini fridge in the room and the gym has only the basic / cardio. There was no machines for body workout.
Location is quite good though we still had to walk a minimum of 15 mins to reach the beginning of the city / restaurants etc The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Supermarket just 2 mins away. Mcdo, burger king very close to the hotel for those who fancy burgers etc

Breakfast selection was a little limited.
The hotel is very well presented. The rooms are clean and spacious, although the clothes hanging area is awkward to get to.
