Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

JapanHere are the issues I faced during my stay: - The staff mentioned that AC doesn’t go below a certain temperature during spring. So we didn’t have any control over the room temperature despite having an AC remote in the room. - The glass door of the bathroom kept sliding. There is no way to lock it. I used my bath slippers to keep it in place while showering. - The exhaust fan of the toilet didn’t work for first 2 nights so we had to ask them to get it fixed. It was working on our last night (we stayed for 3 nights) - The bathroom door lock doesn’t work so we (2 friends) had to make sure to inform each other while we were using it. - The was no cross ventilation in the room. - We were given 2 NFC cards to unlock doors which stopped working on our last night (the lock was showing red lights). We had to go to the reception to get these fixed. - They have a NFC lock at the entrance but it didn’t work throughout out stay. So the entrance door was open 24h. Anyone could walk into the premise if they acted like a guest. - The neighborhood doesn’t seem safe at late hours. If we add up all these small inconveniences, it didn’t make up for a good experience. If you don’t mind all these points, you’ll be alright with the hotel service. They have a very accessible location and great premise. I think they can do better with a little more attention to details and proper management.
The location is very accessible. There is a metro station right next to it. There are lot of fast food options around like McDonalds, KFC, etc. The premise is clean and they have nice breakfast (but no vegan options).

TaiwanWe stayed for 4 nights. They only give out free water on the first day. The rest of the days you will need to buy. The WiFi is so bad and no signal in our room. The hairdryer keeps on over heating.
It’s pretty comfortable

GermanyUnfortunately, toilet door didn't close. Also no key for main entry. We had to wait at night for reception to come and open the door. Repair work was ongoing in the common area and created a lot of noise even in Sunday

United KingdomThe area outside the hotel was full of men trying to either sell illegal goods, begging or trying to steal. very intimidating in the evenings. Also the hotel is not near Montmartre square which you would imagine giving the address would be.

NorwayI didn't like the noises they had renovations going on, and it was disturbing. The other thing is like the room widow couldn't open to get a fresh air. Very warm room.
I like the Location, because it's in the heart of paris and easy to take the Metro 4 just 1min walk to the station.

AustraliaWere not allowed glassware for vine or water but had to drink out of paper cups. No fridge in room. No milk. On request from front desk they couldn't find any for tea and coffee. Common area carpets badly stained.
Staff were lovely and helpful. Ease of access to room. Good size bathroom and bedroom.

HungaryWe lost an e-book at the hotel and the staff is refusing to send/post it to us, despite asking several times and offered to pay for the posting cost upfront. They insist me to order a delivery service to pick it up which unfortunately costs me more then the value of the e-book. Sending it by post would be much cheaper, but the reception does not even respond to my emails anymore.
the hotel was OK

IndonesiaHotel Kyriad might be one of the worst experience I have ever had during my trip in Europe. the room door DID NOT work at all. The door could not be locked from outside. When we tried to raise the issue to front receptionist, she could not help anything and even said "Nobody is going to steal your belongings in Paris". Finally, we tried to do the best we can to prevent someone to enter our room by placing our luggage behind the door.
The place is clean and near Porte de Clignancourt Metro Station. You can easily find anything you need around the hotel such as food, drugstore, groceries, etc.
