Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything practically perfect but primarily Clare the receptionist who was outstanding. Would use whenever in Poitiers without hesitation.

Room was old, tired and is in need of a revamp. But again, I conme back to the price, it's what you pay for so didn't bother me much. Happy to get some rest after 17 hrs on a motorbike!
Price point, reasonable breakfast, staff were great It was a cheap room, you get what you're paying for so don't expect the Ritz. TV didn't work but to be fair it's in French and I don't speak it so didn't make a difference. Was somewhere to rest a weary bikers head for the night! Breakfast was okay too for the money

They might need to clean the air vents a bit.
This hotel is much nicer on the inside than it looks from the outside. Nice rooms with good beds and they are even fairly cosy. Bathroom is small but fine. You can make free coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was great, usually hotel buffets aren't really worth their money, but there it surely is, great quality and variety of products, quite a few organic, and things you don't see every day such as grade a maple syrup, so breakfast was much better than expected.

The rooms are very dated and dull.

The rooms were very good for both days however, the ground floor accommodation for this stay was much better sadly for both rooms the condensation and mould around the windows needed to be cleaned by us before we felt comfortable enough to stay and relax.
The restaurant and the staff were great and we stayed at the hotel earlier in January and decided to stay there on the way back, even though the standard of the rooms were a little disappointing, we decided to stay there again because of the staff and their customer service. In particular, these staff were absolutely brilliant, Ibrahima and Alexandra.

Basic but good size room, close to motorway and some restaurants. Clean and bathroom good size.

Hotel felt like it had been downgraded from the Kyriad it previously was to save money on renovating it.
Staff were brilliant, very welcoming & helpful but hotel is in need of some renovation!.

Missing a lift, it is difficult to reach your room if you have luggage.

Very basic shower!
Ideal stop off on the long journey down to southern Spain. About 3 kms from motorway but easy to find. Lovely evening meal, and loads to eat at breakfast

Restaurant was closed sadly but they didn't mind us sitting in the food area eating food we went out to buy. The rooms are quite small and dated and feel a bit tired and dark but the beds were comfy and clean.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Location was good. Great patisserie at the end of the lane just before you turn into the hotel.

Nothing really, it was just what we needed.
Very friendly reception, all info shared. Nice buffet-breakfast with a variety of food. Very helpful staff as well. Even when they were further away, they kept an eye on you and noticed when help was needed. We were really taken care off.

Additional pillows would have been good, I suppose we could have asked for these but didn't think about it at the time, perhaps a notice stating if you wish for additional pillows to as at reception
